If we could organize it overseas, and showcase American DJs / producers, that would be great. Somewhere like Israel, India, or Brazil.

err .. ticktets to india start around $900 for a round trip .. though a very good idea, trvelling costs for all the DJs and artists is something to be really considered twice ..

Funk that... We just gotta find a nice outdoor spot in maybe the midwest and have everyone meet in the middle. The US has a lot of talent that runs the full range from progressive through the melodic to the crazy shtuff and back around again... The Powow fest was a great start to something that should happen frequently... I love the international artists!!! But at the same time, there soo many smaller communities doing this stuff around the country, we really should try to do a fest will if not all predominantly national talent...

yeah.. let's find a place in the middle where it's cheap to fly/drive from both coasts, chicago, and texas.

actually Colorado would make an ideal state to hold such a gathering. Its location, as well as tons of wilderness, which im sure translates to boo-koo amounts of venue possibiliies....

The most solid spots in the Midwest that I know of are Hog Ridge and the venue for Sacred Earth, NCN.

haha, yeah, pow-wow was def. a step in the right direction as far as, well, powow's go. : )
i also like what i see in cali w/ those 3dayers geared more towards people actually coming than blowin up a lineup and losing money.
not to say i can't support a bomb-ass lineup.

it makes it an easier decision for me to travel 12hrs+ for an event when i know that my east to west coast brothers and sisters are gonna join.
