Really struggling to enjoy this. Sometimes i buy cd's from reviews and see how it goes which i did on this occasion.

I just find this basically annoying and found myself hitting the ff button while listening to it. Will give it another go though as sometimes after a few more listens you can be rewarded with something that didnt appear to work at first.

To kirstyandmoe and all online shoppers, listen to the samples first before buying...theres virtually a few new releases every day, so choosing your style is important...

To download samples. If the samples are streaming, save the file e.g. *.m3u, open in a text editor, copy the link and pop into browser, and save the sample.
Saiko Sounds gives 4 minute sample, enough to decide if the style rocks or sinks your boat!!!

To get this thread back on topic...

I'm on my 2nd listen right now - I'll have to say that some obvious comparisons to other artists might be easy to make, however I believe there's a lot more going on here than meets the ear at first listen.

I personally think Talpa's style is a unique blend of other styles, and there are some really rippin' complex tracks here. It's obvious that a LOT of work went into this music.

I think he also takes vocal manipulation to a new level, which really really works sometimes (of course there are a few times it doesn't work as well).

9/10

i cant see what the fuss is all about. Boring meldodies that been heard many times before and poor production. So what if it was made on a low budget - a computer is a computer and many acts release much better production on just a pc.

I think it is a bit overplayed with too much elements in it. Good ideas are there but I would prefer it a bit more minimal to give it a straight edge.

Ok, just when I thought nothing from the full on world could impress me anymore, there comes this album which kicks me right to the moon.

This is simply one of the best c.ds in the full on world that has been released.
Finally an original album. So much creativity, such interesting music and of course the most important factor - at last some real psy.

God damn Franny, you know how to pick them!
