That is right - when posted by the label itself, it is considered as self promotion.
Therefore, as I explained in the "reason for the post being deleted", to post this in the promotional section (if of course this is posted by Franny himself).
Let other do reviews. Leave the promotion to the promotional section.
If this is posted by the reviewer itself, no problem in leaving it in the c.d review section.
Now back to the topic pls.

Yes.
You as a label manager have the right to promote your release in the promotional section. The c.d review section should be left to objective reviewers, who have nothing to do with the labelf itself.
The reviews on the c.d reviews section should be posted by the authors themselves. Other reviews that were not made by them would deleted and asked to be posted in the promotional section.

thats funny, i did do an official promotional thread in the promotional section,complete with my media release sheet etc,but it was deleted.
I wastold that promotional threads get deleted the day that the cd is released |

well
many ppl told me that this album is like Infected or Simon Posford style, but for me (the No. 1 fan of Simon) i think the album is not even close to the not close to be like simon's style.
how can ppl say its like simon the sound sucks not talking about the writing. if this is how goa sounds today maybe we sould move to other style. goa 2004 hehehe thats good one.

I don't see how the album is similar to Simon Posford's style, though I think it was definitely inspired by Infected's The Gathering.
If you haven't heard this one yet, you have to check it out!
Highly recommended! 10/10

Great great album!!
Dragon Tale is a monster, full of goa melodies, for me the best of the album for sure!!! There are no boring tracks on this album, just pure brilliantly well done dance bombs!!
Keep it up, because if your first album is "this" your upcoming releases will be masterpieces!!

He should have made an ambient album. That's what he seems to be really good at, that first tune is just fabulous. Badass! The rest, I don't know man, there are some very good moments there, but some very bad aswell. It sure sounds like Infected Mushroom's early stuff, but nothing similar to any Simon projects if you ask me. Anyways this might be one of those albums that requires to be heard again and again. Another thing that disturbs me a little is the well I don't know how to put it really, it's as if the album was made in a 50€ studio, you can definetly hear it, well I can atleast..

the 50 Euro studio thing is a little stupid or arrogant dont you think?
many artists are software synth based only,even many of the "big" names.
This release is an excellent example for me to learn more about perceptions & expectations & pre-conceptions.
