Wow it was amazing!!! I had an excellent time. Can't believe such a festival actually happened in Israel.

We arrived there at around 22:00 on Thursday, put our stuff in the bungalow and went to "tour" a bit. The place was beautiful. You had everything there: sea, pool, market area, restaurants, an old ancient site.
We went to sleep and woke up at around 02:00 when our other friends arrived and went to the dancefloor.
About the first night, I dont really know who was playing when. Comparing the first night to the second, the second was much much better. But crowd speaking, the first night was better. Quality people. There were around 1000 people digging on Thursday. Silicon Sound was very good and Beat Hackers gave a very interesting and good set. And I digged to Astrix...hehe... he was good! I cannot believe I actually enjoyed his set.
When the music stopped at around 10:00, me and a friend hoped to overcome the heat, but just couldn't do it. So I called a friend who lives in Naharya for help, we went to her place (air con), and came back on Friday evening.

On Friday evening, Star Sound Orchestra opened with a live act that really disapointed me. I was sure it would be an amazing act, but it turned out to be a big headache. They lacked synchronization and it all sounded like one big chaos sound orchestra. After that came Onyx and PTX who gave on hell of a set. I know I'm really not objective here, but the reactions they got from the crowd was amazing.
Then it was Logic Bomb set who was a bit boring.
After that it was Bamboo Forest who gave a beautiful morning set, followed by Alien Project that bombarded the crowd. What a morning...wooooow. Then it was Mid ad another guy and Zoo-B. At that time I went to rest a bit and came back to James Monroe who gave a perfect perfect closure. Downbeat, groovy. I was in heaven. Digging slowly, getting into trance. Thank you James Monroe.

Good things: Beautiful location, first festival of its kind happening in Israel, beautiful line-up. Met a lot of new and great people. Mixed crowd (I didn't expect that out of 3000-4000 people that everybody would be great). Chillout music playing when there's no trance music.

Bad things: Many people got their stuff stolen. Many people reported bungalows being broken into. The thing is the key that opened the bungalow was the same key for all the rest of the bungalows. Shame. People got their whole tents stolen, with the bags inside and everything. Disgusting.
Heat - It was sooooooooo hot during the day. It was like being inside a stove.
"Money festival". If you wanted to buy something, you had to buy coupons.

To sum it up, I'm still euphoric. Excellent festval, I hope that many more will follow.

POL, where are the pics?

wwwooooowwww!!!!

what a great experience!!
i came only in friday noon, i was realy pleased the moment i saw the location, it had all u need to have a perfect vacation, nice beach, great camping area with a lot of shade from the horible sun, a pool with a stage on the side(gr8 music in that stage, "nikmat hatraktor", great dub proformences and more mixed styles dj sets all day long)
at 23:00 star sound orchestra started their live act, it was realy wierd, they started with slow beats and boring music, after few tracks they saw that the crowd dont realy ajust to this style so they changed style slowly, at 1:30 they were still playing boaring tunes only this time they were realy fast bpm, but still they had some highlights in their act
i slept till 5AM then it was alien project that was realy good! than bamboo forest came and gave a great morning dj set, all of his best tunes!
than came zoo-b and mid, great melodic morning set!! a some perfect nostalgic tracks (oforia - special offer!!! and the year now is 2003!!!if u know what i mean ) it was realy hot at that point so i had to chill for a while, when i came back there was a guy (now i know its james monrow, thanx ravergirl) that played some slow groovy tunes that was great with the hot sun he played till something about 11 from that point till i got home it was so hot to even remember what happend

btw
what are those stupid cupons?!?
i felt like i was playing monopoly!!

well , i didnt wake up that night, i prefered to sleep , from time to time people went in and out of our busy hut so i managed to listen to the music, didnt like it at all , and as i said - i slept like a baby...
i still dont look at that as a festival - its more like the parties in the eilat hotels u know, closing the hotel or a section of its for the weekend and doin a party...
in the 2nd day i was more awake for sure, enjoyed myself when "Nikmat Hatraktor" played, then Star Sound Orchestra started their tunes, but as Raver said - too much chaos there, so i didnt stayed there... fell asleep again for couple of hours - woke up straight to logic bomb (i'm so sorry that i didnt hear onyx+ptx set ) .
logic bomb was pretty basic , playin hits which is really good for a fan like me than bamboo forest gave a nice set, ari linker really mastered the crowd and the mixes - puttin the classic prodigy voodoo people and also the money for nothing (dire straits) rmx (by who?) and started the karahana of the morning... then went on mid (good one) and zoo-b who played mostly gms sound alike hits and the whole thing finished with james monroe... what can i say about it? i was expecting something more psy in the morning than down bit house... sorry raver... thats what i think about it...

the stage was pretty basic, no decoration at all, but the sound covered it all - what great clean massive sound! really enjoyed the quality there

the crowd was pretty ok,a few shimonim, but nothing harmless, lots of beautiful people (mostly babes) in swimsuits... the vibes were pretty nice there...

the place was pretty cool, basic huts with a fan that really tried... some people ran away to the air condition, some people stayed and handled the heat the beach is great, one of the best in israel and defenetly the cleanest water i've seen this year here
the pool was cool, and everything was really good there.
the coupones thing was really bummer there, and the walk to the "Burger Ranch",which was a psychadelic place for a weekend, was pretty hard in lunch time...
at the end of it, i can say i really enjoyed myself, had a good company with me and all thing there were in a good mood...           I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

Well Well Well.....so it was good?

i ALMOST went myself. but decided to pass, mainly beacuse the price was a bit high for me but also beacuse i was pretty sure it's gonna suck big time there.

i'm glad to read that i was wrong.
any way, i'm pretty much against those big event.
i think the "scene" in israel is just not ready.

Well - thank you for reminding us to say the trueth... and the trueth might ALSO be |(don't mean to hurt anyone or anything, really!) that kupons idea sucks (oops!) the artists didn't get to have drinks, as normal guests - and that's rude (oopsie.. ) and the thing that's pissed me off most is all the 200-500 (I'm worst astimater people staying after all - for Shotey Hanevua show - got the songs all cuted, and a short show - for they did it "volounteerly" - and only for being who they are, chose the music way and it was worth any bit
I'm glad I was there, I'm glad I've stayed till the very end, (though had to run away at the day time - addicts of aircon )
And I know putting it all together must be hard, and they did it good - but promising DJ's on posters is one thing, and not bringing two of them , aswell as not paying to a 7 ppl live band - just isn't the way - so how about some PLUR for old times sake? Isn't there any left? so sad...

And when times come to play chillout - they play house...
buuuuuuuuuuuuu

I only thank the crowd and the people around me - who made it great
Prodaction wise? rather work with someone else... Shame theres not many of them...
