I've always been curious where certain artists in the past were placed in lineups. Like Noosphere. What time slot were they, usually? In their Radiated days (1999)

(been listening to that album a few times recently. Classic tracks).
Carbuncle
Mushroom Hunters

Well for my opinion, this diversity it's just a sign that our psychedelic scene it's becoming more complex which is a good sign isn't it? It would be boring if the old style would keep going like that till now days, think about it!? I consider this a good thing, more ideas come into the scene, more doors are open now and will be more in the future I believe, I think it's all about moving in this pace.. and keep it psychedelic beside all this, it's not that lot's of festivals are focused in one style (if so, mention 1).. I see variety of styles in the psychedelic festivals especially now it's becoming more complex as I said before, festivals tend to have more than just 1 main stage and 1 chill out.. I see some experimental/techno/minimal and variety of stages in festivals.. for me all this turns out to be a very good result! Peace out

well i din't mean it is particulary bad to have subgenres in musical way and variety which is good. but on the other hand it is also separating us in a way, if u have time check out this vid:

Therefore, you could never expect me to get at night time in party.
And if I attend a bit festival with lots of Dark Psy artists I would probably go to sleep whenever the Dark Psy started.

Taste...

very same here. Although I love the nights and IF I ever would go again for a 'goa' with dark at night I probably would stay outside. I doubt I would really dance though. Or dance long.

It seems for me like the goa times are over more than less, although there are some interesting artists and even new albums for my taste. Still good that universal music has so much more to offer and you never know what comes next. Maybe some deep psychedelic wave with more than just sound colours appears someday again on the horizont .. not enough of goa or real psychedelic music at these fests these times.
