Heres the long awaited HOMmega Release!!
Sub6 full leight album, fasten yer seatbelts..

track1
On the ground.
long intro, then the layed back bassline kicks in after all the snares and whips.. can feel the sub6 vibes all the way, when it hits the middle a melodie kicks in for a while then chills down again and up to it ends, and this "Underground" vocals with various fx on..

Track2
Blox loggers.
Some wierd intro, guitarr and bass? then this GROOVY b-line and easy hats start this track and keeps rooling, some good synths swirling around and makes a cool atmospheres, a brake hits the track kinda early and after that build up its all nirvana again, and the rythem are very pumpy and happy

track3
Buttersonic.
Here we are on track 3, the drums starts really quick, and as the 2 other tracks here it has really same vibes, sounds little same same, but its clear sounds and highquality as we are use to hear from s6..This are my favourite track so far, with this cool melodie that sound like some psychedelic bird or something really cheesey.. The track holds a good standar and keeps pumping to its end..

track4
7th son (Featuring: Michele Adamson)
some ragga dude introducing this michele and the low bpm kickbass hits in, after some sec also michele are in it, and as always her lovly voice blends in perfect with the bass and sounds, well done jobb here, but it has to much housy feeling for me, and i its nothing special just then a cleant track..

track5
Wet.
progressive beats and it kinda reminds me of some swedish artist.. really good track with soft synths and great rythms.. funky leads and deep chords somewheres, fits this album perfect.

track6
The droid who save da queen
this one was on alot of top10´s some weeks ago, and it has this smacking bassline with cool samples and phat sounds, kinda repetive for my taste, but really good i would love to hear a remix on this one, with some deep melodies added in it, funny track!

track7
whats in your mind?
HERE`S my favourite on the cd, i like this alot, full of energy full of good stuff, nice fluffy melodies, nice vocals, and great snares percus works.. good track by sub6 here!

track8
Program flies
ohh here we go again, this track many of u guys already heard i think, has the sub6 standars, for sure one of the best in here, great synth sounds, nice sample, must be a bomb on the dancefloor! what a heavy lead that is in it, really cool

track9
Out of serenades.
Here is the more fullon sub6, faster harder stuff, great groove ala´ sub6 and phat sounds used, nicely build up with great storys.

track10
El novation (trance mix)
a trance mix of a hit from last year, what could be better then that?
yea, imo nothing in here could be better then this, they´ve keept the feelings and emotions just added faster bpm and more great work, perfectly remixed in to a journey that nobody will get dissapointed of, this one will bring smiles on ppl faces!

ok, i will give this release a highscore, i need to listen a few more times and mayby i´ll change a bit, but its all wourth the money thats for sure! nice mixed album and im sure there are trax that will be played all over the world in here..

Keep it up sub6 and i cant wait to hear ya live here in sweden in july

9/10

One of the most talked about duo have finally released their highly anticipated debut - SUB6 - Who needs Love songs CD (Hommega).
Who Need Love Songs art work is just amazing and comes as a continuous flow and with compliance to the astonishing art work used on the Ra Heya Singles CD (released not long ago), wise & intelligent, implemented under high supervision with a desire & success of creating something fresh & different.
SUB6, have built up a name of masters of juicy fat bass lines, slim & shivering FX's, deliver an album which has a very strong electro backbone supported by wide spread use of elements incorporated from psytrance and other genres.
The opening track, has too much of an Infected scent to it IMO, even though SUB6 did put the Vocoder use out there this track kind of misses with its heavy scent, but still a very well produced track that will do the work on the dance floor.
Blox Loggers is mixed in nicely with a classic guitar melody serving as an intro, slow heart like beat comes in followed by a juicy fat bass line , exactly what I was looking for, interesting, intense & groovy.
Buttersonic fits well with the flow projected by the previous, bouncy atmospheres elevating higher and higher, another dance floor hit, pumped with funk and energy.
7th Son is another collaboration between the duo and the UK based, (frequently flying to Israel ) singer Michele Adams.
Opening with a strong scent of electro 80's, to be followed by a fusion of Caribbean dub reggae groove, British pop & ever changing electro beat, would fit MTV perfectly.
Wet, brings about a clubby, techno, housie carnival spice to things, easy going & humoristic as hell.
Droid save da' queen, juicy psychdelic dark intelligent Tec trance, executed profoundly and eloquently, a MASSIVE HIT.
What's in your mind, pushes things down a notch, only to be swept off again as the track progresses, slight Infected M. touches, but with a stronger SUB6 seal of approval.
Program files is another melodic, vocal enhanced low beat expedition, very hypnotic slightly gloomy, full of suspense & cinematic textures all the way through. - pretty average.
Out of serenades, is a spaced out, funky track full of character & humor, very flowing & capturing, I love this one.
El Novasion (trance mix) is the closing episode of this fruitful saga, a successful track in its original form and an excellent rmx as well, walking into deeper spacey, realms.
This sure is an excellent buy and a work well done, a CD which is both creative & interesting, bearing a strong and apparent signature of quality & uniqueness.
High dose of electro grooves, juicy bass lines, spacey & melodic, dance floor oriented selection of breezes.
Favorites:
2!,3!,4, 6!!,9

Official release information:
Sub6 are brothers Golan and Ohad Aharoni. They started making electronic music in 1999 and have become one of the biggest trance acts in the world.
They have released tracks on compilations of leading labels such as TIP World, Spun, Solstice, HOMmega and many others.
Last year they collaborated with UK singer Michele Adamson to create one of the biggest dance floor hits - "Ra he'ya".
HOMmega is proud to present their debut album – "Who needs love songs"!
A complete masterpiece that will no doubt be marked as a milestone in electronic dance music as it forms an ultimate fusion between club oriented music and rave power. The album is an inspiring journey through numerous styles: Psychedelic Trance, Progressive, Tech-house, Electro, classic Techno and even Dub music fused together on top of 'juicy' baselines and an uncompromising drive using vocals and crossovers between trance and house elements.

very dissapointed with this one...probably the biggest dissapointment I had in years...that track with michelle just pissed me off...and all other tracks sound like watered down versions of program flys which is btw the best track on the album, but it's a year old

anyway I don't want to go into details...the production quality is great and it does sound innovative, but I think it just follows the same formula and the only track that really stands out for me is program flys...I just didn't think it would turn out to be the peak of their production work...           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

hey guys

excellent album at all ....warm floating morning tunes for the peak time ... i think sub6 bring a new revoltuion in psy trance scene with their new innovativ style ...

everytime i play sub6 tracks at the dancefloor the ppl scream and dance like nobody is watching ...their magic is undiscribeable ...every track is something special and will stay for long time with us ..

the album shows their knowledge about music and craetiv ideas they have ... i hope they will keep their style and will hit me longer with this kind of psy trance

some of my favorite tracks of the album are on the ground which got a great production level and the right trickyness ...very groove and switchy

another great track is blox loggers ..with new kick and new ideas the track break down and let the ppl dance

7th sun feat. michele is a great track to end a party ..really cool lyrics by the michele adamson sun ...

the druid is one of the best dancefloor smasher they produce ...hard hitting baseline with brilliant sample arrangement and wicked vocals ...

whats in your mind is another great dancefloor blaster which stay in my mind for long time ...

program flys comes with nice fx and a great melodie ...another floor filer ..

el novasion (trance mix) ...one of their best tracks remixed to an fast smacking track ...i think we will hear it many times on this year ...they really keep the style of el novasion but the tuned it a bit more trancy ...

result is: its a very high class produced album !!! keep it up guys ..i hope we will hear more music like this from the brothers ...

10/10

This is fantastic. Absolutely worth the wait. Lives up to the hype/expectations.

7th Son felt a little out of place amongst the big stomping stuff but it is good.
There is a lot of great stuff around at the moment and this definitely is in the pile of must have.
Fave trax of a great album 3,6 & 7

IMHO SUB6 has shown what they are capable of and have successfully placed themselves within the top psy-trance producers.

This broad music styles inc the 7th son which many are not so keen on are capable of reaching other types of dancefloors this summer.
