Biggest disappointment this year so far. I really like Indian Jackpot, also Teser Beseder. I don't think this is nearly as innovative / original sounding as those. Too cheesy singing on tracks ruins it for me. "coz im a sinner" sounds so fucked up. I dont like singing on psy-tracks, and as a bonus the guy sounds terrible and can't sing. Some tracks are okay. 6/10

Finally one who says it right! Well done Naiman!           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

I'm really sad becuase Sub6 is one of my favorite artist, so i have to agree with some people here, because this cd isn't what everyone expected, i only liked 4 songs on this album.

Very good, very intersting, although little confused by certain sounds in some of the tracks that were causing a head-ache... something I'm not used of the brothers

Not such a big disapointment, since I've heard some of the tracks on the album before it was released and wasn't suprised that the album did not hit it at all.
"Who needs love songs" would have been an amazing success if it was released before the singles and compilation tracks, since after releases such as Teder Beseder and El Novasion (which set a standard to psy-music that will be hard to meet in years) they never really reached that level.
I start thinking that it was not Sub6 I was so amazed with when hearing the above 2 tracks, but rather pixel.

The only track to stand out of this kinda boring album is "7th son", which is simply wicked. The rest of the tracks sound like Sub6, but lack point, are too technical and generally repeat themselves.
The El Novasion remix is a nice try, but seriously - what can you add to perfection? nice try, but no thanx...

Good luck, Aharonies,

7th Son wicked?? We are really differing in taste there... I find it to be one of the worst psytrance tracks with vocals I've ever heard (if not... THE worst)           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Ok, i must add my 3 cents here on the topic.
Clearly this is like it or hate it album and well, i definately like it. In fact IMHO this is the best debut album since IM's The Gathering and Space Cat's Beam Me Up. I just fail to see how people find that album boring, dull or un-innovative. I played it already to death in my diskman and admittedly there are some dull moments, like the El Novasion remix which is like Tal (Helen) mentioned is indeed a futile attempt to re-invent the wheel.
But!!!
All the other tunes like Buttersonic, Blox Loggers,What's in Your Mind and 7th Son (yes yes this tune is a mile stone!) just keep blasting my socks off.
I think i'll burn my self a CD with additional 3 tunes by the brothers:
Ra Heya, El Novasion (original, instead of the remix) and Teder Beseder. That way i will have a perfect album
My grade is 9.95

Acidhive - who said it was psytrance? I think the fact it is so good is that it is not psytrance. Very well made and groovy tune indeed, and this is what I'd expect from Sub6 - to show that they can do what they did with Teder & El Novasion by re-defining the sound around us.

but you're right, our tastes differ.
