here the first atc and se1 are around 500/600 .(both kind of minimoog clone )

the se1 envelop are kinda smooth digital env, not snappy like a mini so probably not as intresting for my needs.atc are snappier but still not lighting fast it seems.(but from what i read it s still more punchy than a virus TI)

boomstar have all knob per fonction over the atc.

boomstar is all discrete circuit not sure if it mean improvement over the atc but it could be.

Is having all knob per function maybe the reason why they couldn't implement all 4 filters on the Boomstar?
Makes me wonder, as the older SE synths were capable of handling several filter chips.

that 3003 thingy has a fantastic creamy and rich sound. one of the best sounding "new age" analogues i have heard. judging from demos that is of course.. but really great!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

dunno, the filters options were not expensive in the atc so it strange, would not be suprised the boomstar are improved designs..

i like the moog thickness and caractere too ! what do you think about it? for bass and phat leads i would not be surprised it s great

in newer stuff i m more impressed by modulars personaly but for the price these seems really great in term of sound/features

there is definitely some moog charactr going on. personally i do not like that. tried moog, not my cup of tea at all. yes the filter is quality and the sound stellar, but the sound aesthetics simply do not touch me. taste and that..

agree the distortion sounds phat!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

I'd get the one with the HPF as well, the SEM or 4075? The Arp one sounds great anyway.
There is something about the sound in the clips, its not all one big sweet spot though...then again it goes into some notes that it just sounds great.

How many € is this?

They sound kinda dull though...not sure, but they lack something in the top end, as if the VCF does not open all the way (like my Slim Phatty), could be my idea though...interesting thing about them is cross mod/FM and that ring mod sounds pretty!
