My favourite new features are:
-MixConsole/ Channel Strip(!!!)/ Fullscreen mode/ Channel list @left
Ok, graphic is not my favourite part but this is not that important
-effects A/B comparison
-EQ with spectrum analyzer
-Chord Track - this little baby will improve workflow a lot (if you not a 1 key melody maker  )
-Global collaboration with VST Connect SE - for now it's not important for me, but in future for sure 
at picture belove you can see a Steinberg's 1176LN plugin, but I can't find list of plugins. Maybe there will be some surprises in native plugin list

sweet! new mixer, remote control with learn (finally!!) .. and that Hermode Tuning Technologie sounds very interesting..

tbh i havent find any great features that i really need by looking briefly but if all the new stuff sound high quality i might upgrade, i like the look, full screen , new console.. great |

i always wait one version for upgrading, so now from 5 its a no brainer.
curious as to the console sound and if its anywhere near high end 3rd party plugs. that would be sweet indeed..

usually the upgrade price from the two previous versions is the same, i.e. v5 and v6 should have the same price and i am guessing 199 euros as it was always?

thats actually hefty. considering the price of full daws from competitors.. thing is i am used to cubase and only have very limited time to make music.. so learning something new would be a pain in the arse really..

true even if a daw like studio one is easy to learn and get used when coming from cubase. |
