talent is talent,despite the medium.
the point is that organisers want prearranged sets and seems normal to me the dj to be bored whith the same set palying the hole summer...so no worries for selection,no warries for beatmaching sitting on the booth whith a beer , seems boring to me...

Its what comes out of the speaker & how that works the dance floor thats important - not what you use to get it there.
Though having said that - its a pain when the first/last 10 mins of your set are spent worrying whether the previous/next DJ is going to accidentally unplug the wires and cut the sound whilst they're messing about setting up/taking down their laptop & controller.

Psydude the point is that Dimitri KNOWS how to mix with 3 cdjs or turntables UNLIKE 99% of the djs of our times that use technology to mix because they dont know how to mix otherwise.......

technology brings tools that make the technical part easier. what's wrong with that ?
i understand that it's annoying for those who spent hours trying to sync 2 tracks together. but that's life, it's only technical and has nothing to do with the music itself.
unless you have only focused on technical side of your music...
