Ok Ninja, I can't help you anymore but I will put some corrections:
There are two kinds of sound schools in Israel: Private schools like "Record", "Gera", "Hed" etc... and two colleges for Sound Practical engineer diplome: "Jordan Valley college" (near Tzemah) and "Sapir college". Right now the best one to study in is Jordan Valley, also a beautiful place on the Kinneret beach, nice studios and atmosphere, private schools are more expensive, less studies and no degree ! Sapir is nice but too south... There are only two people who left the Jordan valley college after 1 year and let me tell you they didn't have nothing to do with sound ! Believe me, I know them...

Well i don't worry about dropping early because of lack of interest. That's just won't happen. The studies in Jordan valley and Sapir college are basically the same and are guided by Ministry of Education. That means i get an authorized degree from them  . Why i went to Negev and not North? I guess it's because i served the army in Negev. In the middle of nowhere and i got addicted to it's sunrises and sunsets. That's all

I know nothing about quality of Sapir college vs. the one in Jordan valley... but one thing I can tell u for sure.. a friend of mine teaches there - the one I collaborated with on 90% of mine non Trance trax, and except of the fact I hold him one of the most brilliant artist minds there are, he is helluva teacher. I guess u gonna have a very interesting year with him around..

well i have been studying in "hed" colleage for 1 year now and i enjoy it very much the school is good and the tech stuff is in a high quality and i have known that yoav gera is not so good studies because it is not so specific they learn more bulshit than what u need.
but have fun ninja i dont know about sapir but......

holla ninja...
as a warking man in the sound and light ocupation here in israel for the lust 10 years , i met alot of ppl coming from the israeli coleges for sound...man the one thing i can ofter u is..go wark in a sound and light compeny , u'll probebly brake u'r beck  but u'll lern much more then in any colege around israel..

i was going to study in BPM but i dont think there are any relgious people there an i am religious so i study online for Music for Film. i know its not sound engineering but it def is something and its online from America.this Jordan valley college sounds cool cuz i live close to Kinneret.Peace.
