the first SOUND SPECIES party @ club Duplexx.
10pm - 8am (club owner has no problem staying open later if the crowd is still there)
killer sound. EAW speakers. 40,000 W.
2 floors. (capacity 500)
one floor - progressive & morning full on
main floor - full-on
DJ's :
PENTA, Spectral Concepts. San Fran & Russia
Technological Arrow - Knob & Jun, Sound Species, Japan
Jehan, Sound Species, Goa & NYC
Influx, Dream Catcher, Brazil
Electrofunk aka Dj Uriel, Ecliptic Trance NY, Israel
Vitalik, Omnitribe, NYC

Still to come: Flyer, Line-up, ticket info, and more.
this will be a monthly party (sometimes maybe every 6 weeks), with international DJ's and acts.

damn. i have to take my student teaching exam at 7:30 the next morning...i guess it would be a bad idea to try to go to this party! oh well -- good that this is going to be a monthly. |

On the way up to the OmniTribe party last weekend (in the snowstorm) we were listening to Penta live at DNA Lounge. I said, "Someone should bring him over here - he is really good." and now look... I cannot wait!

wowowo man okok i see the name taht i was waiting for - Penta .... very nice and who else russian u wanna call cause Kindzadza , Psykovsky are in Goa right now and they gonna be there for some time and Parasense and Fungus Funk are joining them as well.... hmmm whos left ? Transdriver would be a good choice i think |

The other Russian DJ will probably be more local.
from Omnitribe possibly. Have to talk to him tonight.
this is our first party guys, we dont have a bottomless pit of money to bring in multiple acts from all over the world yet. If we could we would. Soon enough though.
and supporting our local DJ's is important! |

In my oppinion even one Russian artist is more then enough for New York city right now. Hopefully after this party people here get to realise what are they missing , and later its gonna be more artist playing this type of music coming to Big Apple... |
