hey, hello from Australia!
So first of all, something more about the new location. We felt to move somewhere else to keep Sonica something new and exciting again. I would love to see the same festival i visited already 2 times held in another location! Other reasons are because of privacy and better comunication with authorities and police in this new location. We didn't feel we were much welcome anymore in Capodimonte and we really care about these issues, being sure our happy comunity is well threated.
Also, as we said before, the new location is really close to one of the most beautiful places of Italy, called Cinque Terre, the sea is only few kilometers from the venue, that being 1200 meters on the sea level and with a huge camping area under the trees promises to be much cooler than the old one...
About the line up, we are confirming few acts and we will publish it at the end of february, expect some variations compared to sonica's last edition, we wish we can please everyone!

a big hallo to all the freaks around the world...life in goa is always good... even if they dont let us dancing..
from next week we will start to take reservations for market and resaturant space, this year we will have 40 shops and 10 bar and restaurants from all over the world to give a unique food taste to please mind and stomac..

there we go for another blast of sonica 2007!!! i wish u guys all the best for this year!!! i will join u on the festival... And the spot u choose is perfect i had the chance to see some pictures( lord of the rings ehehehe)!!! WELL done mates is better then capo di monte...

As for now the line up is very good (even if not too different from prev editions).
Great news that Perfect Stranger is playing!!
Can't wait for that!
If I can name 3 acts which I'd love to see @ Sonica:

No doubt that Sonica will be a blast.I've been there twice now and its always been a pleasant stay with Edoardo and the crew!!!
We (OZORA CREW) would like to wish the Sonica crew all the best and looking forward to the fest.The sonica team has always been very open armed and extra helpfull which is why i can only say the best .

If I have understood well your post....DON'T WORRY and sing up quickly on Sonica website 'cause the newsletter is totally in English!!!
It would be better to say:'Someone help us!'....with English matter....

Only few words about the new place directly from sonica newsletter:
'Sonica is going to be held in the precinct of Rocchetta di Vara. This is a small village in the middle of the Maritime Alps only 20 Miles from La Spezia surrounded by the breath-taking landscape and scenery of le “5 Terre” - Mountains that slides into the sea, culture, architecture, food, natural reserve….More info on “activities outside Sonica” in the next newsletter.'
