Does anybody have any suggestions as to how one gets from Rome to Lisboa for a reasonable amount of euros?

if it's for the Boom
you'll find a lot of people going there with campers or cars...
otherwise > easyjet and ryanair  From Rome Ciampino
edit : I have just checked... and nothing with these two companies... regular flights are above the 500€...
I think that it is much better car

There is an overnight train from Roma to Barcelona, then take one to Lisboa. Also some ferry options to Barcelona.

There is a boat leaving everyday (expt sunday) from Citidunnowhat (about 30/40 km from Sonica) to Barcelona at 7 pm, arriving 3 pm.
80 € pp / 140 € per car one way |

TRANSPORT TO SONICA 2006
ciampino airport:
from 19 to 21 july will be available the Sonic shuttle, it will take u straight to the festival COST 20 EURO
fiumicino airport:
take from the airport train to ORTE than will find again our Sonic shuttle to get there COST 10 EURO
(check www.trenitalia.com Fiumicino Aeroporto -> Orte to get timetables)
