I just ordered my ticket through the official website. The payment is done via paypal. I got a receipt from paypal (as usual) and then forwarded to a webpage with the Sonica fest. symbol indicating that "payment has been successfully done" and giving me a trace number for my order.
The ticket is 46 Euro (40 Eur + credit card commission + registered shipping all over the world), which is a bit unfair if you, like me buy, more than one ticket. Unless the damn thing is really heavy and the shipping cost for 5 tickets is more than that for 1 ticket, which i doubt it...
Anyway, I hope they arrive soon. See you all there!!

Hi to all
the online sales finally started, it took a bit more than expected to have it working...
We don't have an email ticketing system since damn italian laws don't allow us to do that.
Tickets will arrive in 10 days from the order, we will send tickets out each monday, so if u order on monday night for example it will be shipped one week later and then will take normal registered post time to reach u. If u order it on sunday it will be there in not more than 5 days. Obviously if u live in Australia, Japan, Brazil or US, it will take a bit longer, but anyway is registered, so when u get a confirmation email from paypal of your order, be sure u will get your ticket.
About the 46 eur... we have been thinking a lot about it and it should be quite fair if u calculate that u will get the ticket at home and we need to have someone sorting all orders, writing down ticket numbers, going to post office etc... We will consider to revisit the 6 eur commission on the next presale price (55 eur). Anyway, for the feedback we receive, we feel confident that our price is quite cheap considering the line up and the fact that the festival is in Italy (quite an expensive country when it comes to taxes, workers and buying and renting of all the needed stuff).
Last but not least, the first presale tickets are almost sold out... just few hundred left, so if u r sure u will be coming to Sonica, consider to buy your ticket asap.

presale price is really OK (IMO) , even if its 46e/each when ordering more then 1...registered shipping all over the world should be worth that.
and yeh.. seems like they selling out pretty fast. but how many people is expected to come anyway (total)? |

Just bought 2 tickets online on Sonica website...everything very un-problematic with Paypal.
Call me lazy but I prefer receiving tickets on my doormat than contacting the presale points.
Edo: I expected tickets to be sold also through ticketone, as the event is listed in their database, will that happen in the next week or not happen at all? |

46 Euros for the best festival of 2005! I think the presale is cheap considering who is on the lineup. Buying them from the online link works out cheaper than buying them from the UK presale contact even though the price includes international registered delivery. Can't wait.
Edoardo, will the camping area have plenty of trees for hammocks?

Hey Edwardo, insted of shipping the tickets to the people, just build up a Guestlist with all there names on the list.. That way, you save on shipping, and the people are sure they will get into the party.. i threw a small local party of about 600 people here in montreal and people got there tickets with paypal and i put all there names on a list that was at the door. 
for instance, lets say i order 5 tickets with paypal.. when i get my confirmation e-mail, i then e-mail you again with everyone's name, like, Vincenzo, Joe, Carlo, Chris and Bob. (with last names of course).. then all people have to do is bring a valide ID card at the door and baboom they get in..
Or, you can ship out the tickets.. just an idea..
Good luck with this festival and i with Italy was closer to my home.. hehe
