I can understand you using the word understand but cant when you use the word enjoy. your sense of enjoyment will be totally different from someone elses so it better to avoid making such sweeping statements.

There are many artists that i love groovin to and jammin to at home and there are many artists that i dont really like listenin to at home.
The debate for me is not so much about the soundsytem.....If i went by this argument then that would mean that just about all the energetic music that i listen to at home, wouldnt sound that great for me..
What i am saying is that there are some artists that when i listen to them at a party or festival it seems as if there is something "extra" and "more" to their music ...
for me the reasoning behind the music sounding different definitely would involve the vibes, feeling, energy, the goodies and better sound system.....
But i believe some musicians, artists are able to bring out an even cleaner and more energetic sound playing live than as opposed to many others.

listening to music is influenced by lots of factors, such as the place, the people you are listening it with, your state of mind, your biorythm, day or night, the sound system etc...
goa trance is a specific kind of music made of tiny variations in frequencies.those variations can easily been heard in studio or big high quality sound sytem but not exactly in classic stereo at home. of course if you take hallucinogem substances your perception will be much subtil and you will be able to hear at home what you generally does not hear in your litle system. have you never checked that the same song at your home does not sound the same when you are alone or with friends ?
there is a big difference between the tracks composed by artists in their studio and the final release in a cd, (that's why i miss this DAT period
