man..the line up is killer but I dont get why there is only one Live PA from Brazil amongst sooooo many from outside......there are so many killer acts arising in national grounds ... If Brazilian organizers dont support them...who will??? |

What about the old and traditional djs like Feio, Rica, Marcelo V.O.R, Lipe Forbes, Swarup and others??????
what about the real brazilian artist like Wrecked Machines, Spectral Skunk and Skulptor
Why a festival big like this whith the best israelian artist dont have the best brazilian artist also???

The line up is quite good but these brazilian artists that are in the Solaris'line up we never heard about them, I think they're new DJS but we're missing the great names as Swarup, Tati, V.O.R, Mack, Feio, Rica and some of them are gonna play on Tranceformation Party, great oportunity to live what is the real trance and what is the brazilian real trance scene...And for the Solaris crew good luck, vibes and my best wishes!!! |

Ross, let me inform you that for sure Du Serena ranks amongst the top DJs here in Brazil, performs his gig almost daily on the best clubs and parties down here, is no newbie to the scene, besides being the producer of this party, is one of the founders of Tribe / Solaris. Each and everyone of the Tribe / Solaris parties has his hands on them, and they´re quite famous and recognized over here by their unique mood & quality, which is undisputable. On the other hand, despite the quality of the brazilian artists mentioned and that are not linedup, they are not the ONLY best ones... Solaris also have Mack, JP, Gil Mahadeva, who need no further introduction. Besides that, Solaris is breaking into new grounds, allowing new brazilian djs and artists to present their work to a wide audience. Were it not for Tribe / Solaris and very few other parties, ppl would be allowed to see only ONE SIDE OF THE BRAZILIAN TRANCE SCENE, which, if you don´t know about, is pretty much divided and segmented into hermetic groups, which fight each other daily and recklessly, in a sad display of vanity, and other less credited virtues.
Now to talk in numbers: Solaris has 1 brazilian live act and 25 brazilian djs (Tranceformation has 2 brazilian live acts and 9 brazilian djs, so the numbers speak for themselves). And last but not least, the Festival is named Solaris Dance Festival, and not Brazilian Trance Festival. And now, at least, for those who want to see those also fine artists, yup, you may go to Tranceformation, where they´ll be playing, whích I´m sure, will be a superb party. There you´ll also have the oportunity to hear and see Haldolium, who is not lined up for Solaris and is one hell of a splendid act, unforgettable ! That´s it folks, life is full of choices: Parties are no exceptions to that fact. |

And another thing....
Wrecked Machines is not playing because he'll be in Japan, otherwise he'd play for sure.
And Tati and Swarup are going to play.
The others mentioned, well unfortunetaley too short time for so many great artists. |

anyway, let's not turn this thread into a dj release page... if I'm not mistaken the release of the djs is on the beautiful Solaris' flyer... probably also on the website.
good luck for both organizers....
think of trance as something big and unique.
