Hey guys, I am new to the music world, I began working with Cubase 5, I got some VST programs like nexus and such, But i wanted to ask, could anyone here suggest me about some good VST? maybe soundpacks aswell? Im working on Trance music generally, I want to creat Psy Trance, Hard trance, maybe lil bit house music...

P.S I got Guitar rig installed but for some reason my Cubase wont recognize it.. any ideas?

You will need drums (kind of stereotype rhythm sounds 8) ).
Try Microtonic and Punch.

Recently i work with Dune! It's so great and easy to program the sound you want!
When i have time i will make a soundbank for this!

stick with just a few of the synth mentioned first imo..getting a lot at same time can be counterproductive and you will use like 15% of what the synths can do.

the best sample is also one that hasn`t been used before..thats why sample packs and those stuff might not be interesting when your after your own sound..           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

The solution is to use ableton ''slice to midi'' option and to slice/rearrange samples.

you're making quite hasty assumptions in a rude manner based on my little inquiry.
i didn't spell it out cause i thought i'd get a wider range of answers but i obviously had high hopes.
there are many soft synths designed to emulate f.e. classic analog synths. i don't need that. i have the originals.
what i'm looking for is a soft synth that really takes advantage of being digital software and specializes in creating complex atmospheric patterns and textures.
