I guess I started cos I've always played in bands of music that I like - from punk rock to speed metal to reggae. So when I got all into psytrance I of course wanted to perform it. It seemed to be the natural progression of a fan.
Today I DJ cos I know that two or three people will love the tracks that I love listening to, and it's fun to have someone to dance and share with.
(also no other DJ seems to play what I listen to by myself, even though they may be good friends)
