+1 I thought the movie was just ok will definitely appeal to the western audience.
But Rahman deserves the oscar he got. music was killer.

Loved Rahman's music but I think Hans Zimmer and and James Newton Howard were much worthier for that prize for the Dark Knight

Was a great movie. Excellently shot and brought out the darker side to Mumbai which was great. The mass hysteria about 'Mumbai being on the global map' by the media has been blown out of proportion. This movie should be an eye opener more then something to be celebrated about.

I thought it was brilliant.
In terms of direction, photography, soundtrack, acting, plot, development, it's really perfect and flawless.
I think he did an amazing job. IMO, it's as good as Trainspotting.
Only different styles.
And this may even be a Western Society movie.
What do I care?? I'm western and I loved it.
