if I get what you're saying, then you'd get better results just rendering the signal with mixed delay down or full wet delay (then mix), 'cause that way you have total control of start and end points, like with every other chunks of audio. you can also do it the lazy way: just automate channel volume (or wet/dry parameter) fully down when you want the delay to shut up like a gentleman (when asked politely to do so)... |
