yes I liked it too.It was not what I was expected when I saw the trailer first,but I enjoyed the movie for sure.
Pretty good imo.7/10

watched it last night..
whats all the twist about guys? that teddy guy has been shown a little crazy with the migrane asprins and that rachel chick in the tunnel and all.. load of crap really, well packaged though. and the build up before the twist in the story is so much, that all along it was getting predictable. i feel the story is still okay, the executions gone bad - ben kingley in the lighthouse all of a sudden opening up the truth is the scene that fucked it up for me. why the fuck did he blow upthat car, where was that scene leading? i knew then that i was gonna be disappointed with the rest, one last minute dialogue for Leonardo (who imo wasnt half as great as he was in departed in this movie) wasnt exactly the saviour or dint even make me think!
overall, its okay - you can go watch it, infact you must since it s scorcese types. but dont expect another "oh im moved, and wanna talk about this movie to everyone" movie.

I watched this movie despite the fact that this spoiler-refic post pretty much ruined the ending for me. I have to say it was better than I expected, although still not one of Scorsese's better movies. If I hadn't known about the ending I think I would have been quite impressed with it.

Maybe he isnt crazy to begin with , goes a bit crazy in the middle because of the drugging and his own past and comes out a person who has nothing to live for but his own point to prove.
imagine a scenario where he has come to investigate the wrong doings on the island and search for his wife's murderer , the island sends an undercover to keep him from uncovering the lobotomies, so they implant memories and thoughts (Andrew laeddis) in his head in order to make him believe that he has gone crazy.
I'm not suggesting that this is real plotline but both scenarios are equally likely IMO.
On the whole the movie is very well directed and is a homage to the great Hitchcock. 8/10

A must watch movie if you like psychological thrillers.I can believe no one mentioned this movie,in my opinion better than Inception,twisted in it s own way...
