The bassline in track 11(circuits of imagination) is exactly the same in massive attack 's " safe from harm".

similar bassline:
track 05 Schmaltz Herring ~~~ Fluke - Reeferendum (Risotto album)

Do you see any connection between them and between Shpongle? I advice you to pull a banana off your ears. Ok?

think that the difference between are you shpongled? and nothing lasts is actually not in changes of shpongle music but more in your own changes... just try to listen it without that comparision and i bet you will find it more interesting.           Spiritual guides are to practice and serve in ways that cultivate awareness, empathy, and wisdom.

I was waiting for something more interesting

A breath of fresh air!!!!!!!!!!!! as soothing as a full moon lost on some mountain in a long lost region of tibet- imagination rules the game!

i'm happy with this cd- it has such a driving forward feel to it- with the other ones it sometimes felt very melancholic but this one is one looking ahead to a promising future.

lesson: we've all tried to hold on to the past and we've been blind to the great journey of the unknown that lies in the future.

I think the whole thing is one big, chaotic mess of ideas and sounds thrown into the FX blender and spit out the other side. After a few minutes, it really gets on my tits. After 60 minutes I want to smash it.

To me this album is totally empty of feeling or emotion--how many times can you listen to the brightest lad in the class show off before you want to pop him? I've reached that point with this one.

I got not one moment of pleasure out of the whole thing. I can't imagine even listening to it again.

absolutely right ... this album is a poor copy of the previous albums without new ideas. it contains no new elements and no highlight, except maybe two tracks which sounds interesting.

i listen to it a few times and every time it was a painful experience, i´ll never listen to it. i swear! and i´m happy about that i dont have to do!

dividing beija floor into three new track titles is the only new thing that shpongle have to offer and thats quite poor!

this sentence shows you clearly didn't listen close enough. it is no copy at all. all 3 albums are very different from eachother.

if its good or bad is a matter of taste, but shpongle is making original electronic music, thats a fact. sampling has always been a part of this genre. if a bassline rocks it rocks.

it contains no new elements and parts which sounds new to me. remember the feeling as you heard the first time track like "behind closed eyelids" or "divine moments of truth", the current album is far far behind this level, its lightyears away.

its uninspired and an average release.

take the main trak from every album - IMO they are :

CD1 - DMT
CD2 - Around The World...
CD3 - Nothing-Schnitzled-Lost {trax 6,7,8}

I think its the same story as Infected's firsts 3 albums :

in the first one, u have been explored to this new Idea of music with very psychedelia stuff. something that always wil be a classic.

in the 2nd one, its the TOP I think.. more melodic, still psychedelia, very colorful.

and the 3rd one, u have the clearest sound, more sound games, less style - more music... Thats mean - this is perfect release for some crowd and dissapointed for other crowd.           ..."Be yourself, let your conscience guide you...
Follow your heart, not the people around you"
...

i disagree with u sputer!

this one is very psychedelic!

and taste changes all the time
i'm sure that if shpongle would do this album like the first one, u could hate it even more...and it was boring(!) and pointless(!).

i love this one
pure psychedelic
sometimes i have the feeling shpongle took midis and loops from samples cds and this is dissapointING.

but good music anyway and very psychedel;ic some of the tracks
peace out

New sum:

Some very strong points in this album - there are three stand-out segments in this album, each one brilliant, original and in the top of Posfordic tradition.

Schmaltz Herring (starting from the 30 last seconds of Periscopes of Conciousness) for it's well crafted flow and smooth buildup of energies, Circuits of the Imagination for the technical wizardry that is both wildly exaggerated (in a nearly glitch-IDM fassion) yet still with a sense of purpose - and copying a bassline... please, this bassline isn't exactly Squarepusher going wild on a bass guitar - it's ordinary enough to not nitpick (or if you are inclined to call this copying, you may as well call all psytrance since 2001 a copy), and Connoisseur of Hallucination (including the first 50 seconds of The Nebbish Route) for the rich harmony that works so well.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
