What if we said, Timecode were the Darker side of the non dark psy. We can make special space for them in the CD shop.
Under L for "Lighter side of darkpsy"
Or perhaps under D for "Darker side of light psy"
Or maybe N for "Not as dark as some darkpsy but darker than your average commercial psy"
Or W for "Whatever the artist who wrote the track felt like writing that day psy"
any other ideas?
ps. (Mandark, coda, lee7) what did timecode ever do to you guys to make you so upset? Or are you just against anyone who is succesful?

why do you have to keep on with this when others have stopped huh??? you enjoying it?
i thought we all agreed that A representative from Timecode will appoligise to Code A
we are not against their success but rather against the same rehashed shit they put on their comps every release (with exception of Artifakt) , if i listen to all of the Timeocde VA's it all sounds the same, over and over again.....
and then the fact they sell themselves as scary dark psy.....or try to....ITS UNPYSCHEDLIC and boring....
anyways they are just fitting in with a world trend... so whatever really
i am off to listen to some Juno Reactor |

actually l337 i have NEVER used sarcasm on this forum to get a point across.. in fact if you read above i explained to code a that it is a poor way to exchange ideas/debate... i have given many arguments for my side repeatedly... please explain to me which of these is sarcastic? or perhaps why this is my 'one argument'. this isn't an argument at all.. i think its time the lid was put on this churlish crap so i was trying to continue RIAK's attempt to lighten this place up...
but if you insist.. all seriousness from here. no sense in having a normal discussion about the music we all love.. lets rather disagree.. its way more fun and satisfying. oops sorry i'll stop being sarcastic... now.

Ah... some early FSOL... and ooooooooh.... some of the KLF stuff they did after the #1 hit but before they burnt the million pounds... vicious shit that when you're tripping just a little bit too hard... and hmmmm..... the 2nd disc of Last Train to Lhasa... that's the one where if you take a really big toke on the bong you end up flowing out of your nose into a puddle at your feet... and wow... forgot about _this_ one! The 3rd orbital album.... sheesh that one nearly landed me in Valkenburg cuz everything turned to polystyrene for three days afterwards... and let's not forget to pack this early RTTS compilation... you know... I heard a story once about this one guy who was completely clueless and he like took 500 mics of acid by accident and then the DJ put on track five and he didn't see it coming and was completely unprepared when the trance kicked in so his solar plexus chakra wasn't balanced and then it started spinning too fast and then it started self-resonating until the centrifugal force tore it to shreds and it exploded and the last time anyone saw him he was running around the bush outside Knysna as mad as a fucking loon without any friends or anyone who cares about him... and yeah... got to pack some Coil as well... and if we're going to go there then we'd better pack some Bill Laswell to put everyone back together again... but we don't want to do that before we've run them through some of the stuff Brian Eno did back when he and Bowie were kapping the heroin and of course no deep ambient set would be complete without some Mystical Sun to remind everyone of just how small we are in relation to the rest of the universe.
