ATTN : IMP : FESTIVAL IS POSTPONED
DEAR ALL,
We hope that you are aware of the unfortunate event which is the passing away of our friend Rodney who is the key organiser and planner of Shanti Jatra. We would like to inform you that this has created a logistical constraint for us to carry forward the festival on the 3,4,5,6 of October 2009.
This will push forward the festival until further notice.
We are working to turn this unfortunate event around and we request you to be patient until further notice.
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN US. WE NEED IT AT THIS HOUR.

n wen will we b noticed, been planning t frm a longtime, since m not in india.. n working, booked train tickets,flight tickets, got my exams n limited time for da trip.. i dont know how i gonna adjust, just crossing my fingers hope dis 1 clicks..  |

We have been looking forward for this event from last year, booked tickets, taken leaves, everything set for the festival and the party is canned!!! I'am not able to digest this.......  |

Hello Shanji Jatra Team
I completely show my respect towards the fact that Rodney who is the key organiser has passed away but making any changes to the Party which is already planned would create lot of trouble to all of us. As you guys knw that we have booked tickets/flight/train.... coming from so far...taking time out of work...being planning for the trip....and everything associated would hamper and would create huge LOSS. Hence its our kind request to u guys no to make any changes since i m sure even Rodney would be happy with all of our blessings and seeing us having fun in the party.
At the end i m sure we all believe in the saying that the Show must go on.............!!!!
So plzzzzzzzzzzz..... Help all of us!!!

all though you have our full support and co-operation.
Please try to make it happen on time ORGS.
There many like the people above mentioned and many not on isra and not on any social networking sites...they will land up in nepal around that time looking forward for the fest. i have friends who are coming all the way from UK for this GIG. I too have bought the tickets for the gig and booked for my travel and accommodation. Please work on it hard and make it possible for all us to pay the tribute that Rodney(R.I.P) deserves.
