uff.. now its gettin difficult to decide in which all festivals should i blow the dust on the floors.. portugal seems to be on fire.. definately cant give this a miss.. so may frens on line up.. specially d guys from utopia.. hope visa doesn bea problem for such long stay in portugal & spain

Sorry no officical news about hotel rooms until now
that's the kind of thinks we'll have to check there next week
Tents will be available in the artist village for djs and guests

we are still in Avis, Portugal to make the things going on.
Last saturday, we had crazy time in local party ( Space budda, Bliss and more) and we met the right people that we need for the event to be a great time:
So stay tuned on the website for more news, like pre-sales tickets, shuttles or hotels booking..

Hi shamanik people,
here the good news: JP and I signed the contract for the rent of the festival site this afternoon.
more than that, we have full support from Avis council & tourism office
another good news: instead of 20 hectares, we decided to take 60.........!!!
Yes: we are crazy guys.
but we knew this already..
what we didn't know it is that we gonna need so manny staff for this festival!!
so, if u'd like to make money during the event by working for it, just send your name, dates of stay and abilities to jobs@shamanikfestival.com
we do need U !

this topic got me quite curious.
shamanik festival.
great line up indeed! but.. the thing is that i went to the updown major flop two years ago and never even got into the festival because it simply ended before i got there.
An 11 days festival that worked (badly) for only 3 days.
FACTS:
summer, two years ago
3 friends buy pre sale tickets to a so called "UPDOWN Festival Raiz" 40 euros presale each.
i thought its a bit suspicious but i got it a chance..
what a chance..
Festival canceled, no return for money lost on the tickets, the organization beyind this hoax had already recovered all the money in he pre sale shops that were seling the tickets in portugal, so no money..
i forworded a complain to the police, exibing the adress of the site owner. guess what?
the adress did nt existed, it was all a big flop..
so guys..
this smells like updown spirit to me as you might imagine.. check out the the site in detail and please tell me if an organization that claims to bring quite a generous amount of live acts and djs, should present it self as it presents.
i m only giving you a prespective of a person that went trough a situation very similar.
investigate.
looks credible? go for it.
dont waiste your hard worked money and the name of trance in portugal without at least investigating.. trance is about union of similar minds.. trust me.
to the org. guys good luck, if you flop this take in mind that you are damaging the scene here. and the scene is just to damaged to be even more..so make your best eforts and think about the rest of the people who take trance as way of living.
remeber the magic..

Critics and doubts relative to the capacity and success of a multidimensional and international project as Shamanik Festival is understandable if perspective a team with individuals with impossible and unframed ideas, but if distinguish on the other hand, they might congregate some of the primordial principles of trance, the humanization of the directions and senses for music, conviviality, learning, art of living, thing a little forgotten or unhappily commercialized by flyers top ten dj´s and live act, where only the blessed & divulged ones are part of. This time, in Shamanik Festival has furthermore the union and confidence with novices, new talents that aren’t so new, but with little or no chance to participate in events of this nature, I speak in ours case, among others, who’re resident and natural of one of the best stage of trance and psicadelic culture of the world, therefore you can count on our presence and gratefulness for the invitation.
