dear mr Aubry,
hope your laziness as passed by now, please dont misunderstand me, i dont intend to diminish this festival im just warning people about a -->fact<-- that happened here in Portugal two years ago, with a very similar type of aproach and that turned out to be a major flop.
another thing, shamanism IS a spiritual practice. i dont care about the fashion shows in the festival or whatever i even support them.. but a "shamanic experience" is NOT what ya gonna get my friend. you are going to get a psytrance festival that bases its ideology on shamanism, a nature practice, but that focuses very litle on nature and on the impact such festival is going to do in the area.. maybe they have infrastructures prepared for the event (i hope so..) i cannot criticise beacause it hasn t happened yet, so i give the benifit of doubt, and if actually goes well i willl go there to have some fun with my friends and enjoy a funky true psytrance ambience. until then hope it goes well.
hmm what would a shaman from the forest think about this?
hope you are not to lazy to anser this one..

i saw in goabase a guy saying that he heard that this festival was going to be canceled!
Is it true??
He said that it had something to do with the money of the pre-sale tickets that is needed to confirm the line-up
Bullshit? I hope!I wanna gonna to this one..! |

Well, the only thing i think is that this event have to much doubt's allready to be a credible festival, don't you think?¿?¿?¿?
Why so much ppl doubt about it?¿?¿?
I think that this lack of credibility have to be with the fact that almoast nobody know nothing about the team that are organizing it...i recken that if was a known and credible organization nobody have so much doubt's...
Another thing is the price...this festival have the same price as his competitor, the Freedoom Festival, and to be honest, the Line-Up and the fact that is the 2nd have more credibility than the Shamanik...
About the sucsess of this event...we all have to whait and see...is the only way of know exactly how is going...
About myself....i have dicided for another event, in other coutry, coz this year have too much trance festivals in Portugal, and that doesn't benifit the scene...i think that have a complete oposite efect...
To the ppl that are thinking on going...i wish them all the luck and a nice festival...

Dear Friends...! Why spreading this energies?
I can understand that this festival gives alot of discussions till now because of the fenomenale line up and and other things ....
But you know, this year I go to portugal ta have nice holliday!!!
I don´t wonna have this doubts bevore because it´s givin me a very bad mood !!
I don`t know the organisers personally but I had contact with them in msn and per mail and I recieved everything they promised.... !!
Don`t get me wrong but i saw few festivals portugal and in the end the crowd was responsible for the energy and not the organisers, they only give the background...! And I realy think, they try their best to give us a really good one!!
I´m sure to dance on shamanik dance floor, and even if we have to do the music by our selves!!
People, don´t waste your energy! when the festival is gone, there is enough time to doubt!!

You can fly RyanAir to Porto, and then go to Lisbon with bus for the shuttle, or directly to the festival site.
Or you can, as me, fly RyanAir to Madrid or Barcelona, and then take the cheapjet vueling.com to Lisbon. I will come to Barcelona to meet som friends, 9 Aug, if you want to connect.

I went to Sonica in it's first and the situation was a little alike this one with shama! And you know what? There's nothing better then the first year of a festival, only the true ones are there!  |

that`s my oppinion, we have to go to portugal and see what the shamanik team show´s us!
Great Line-up, great Location, wonderful weather and happy people with love in their hearts, that`s all we need!!!
