I just want to confirm that my chill out dj set is not going to happen, i just cancelled being part of this festival.
I wish luck to all the rest of the artists that are going and trance people that want to go and have a good time.

Nobody from the org contacted me and some other people from the chill out, so there´s nothing i can do, just cancel.            life is short or to long so i can give myself the luxury of living it so bad.

Hi everybody,

i like just to confirm then i had to cancel also my Live (Concept) and dj set (dj Noon) for this event. The organisation just didn't respect the therms and agreement we had signs on contract all ready long time ago.

I guess it is a bit of shame for a first edition festival.

Hello everybody,
so from what i heard, directly from JP

almost all the advance and tickets for the "big names" has been paid for now and he doesn't consider (or he can't) to pay the advance of the others ( mostly the french artists). Jp said after if the festival doesn't have at least 3000people paying the entrance.they will be not abble to pay anybody ( including the rest of the fees from this "big names").He promise to pay everybody at least in the 3 months (first, and after it was 6months..aha see my mind...).None of the others artists did get their advance, mostly just the flight ticket ( to be abble to play for free in case..)

So we just have to hope for the artists, both "big names" and others that the festival get more at least than 3000people...if we don't want to see JP disapear like some others organisers in the past without paying anybody.

I wish everybody a very nice festival , and hopefully enough will be there for a good ending and not a disaster announced.

WIth all this shit stories we will not be ablle to say we didn't know before.

I heard from artists that some of them will wait the last minute to see if enough people will be there, to decid if they come or not.

Good luck to everyone, and boom shankar!

I'm leaving either tomorrow or Friday to come out to the festival in Avis... I've followed this thread for a bit, and even considered skipping it and staying home in the US, but after the effort JP made to get me the money for my plane ticket and considering how nice he was to me when we met earlier this year, it would be totally uncool for me to flake on him. I know that it's probable that he won't make his budget, but I understand that and that's fine with me. I'm looking forward to coming out and playing for anyone who happens to be there. I do hope that the shuttle thing is still happening, otherwise I will be quite stuck at the airport. I don't know exactly when my flight's getting into Lisbon, so it makes things a little difficult to arrange transportation, but here's hoping all works out well... See you on the dancefloor! Or in the airport!           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

glad to hear that Mubali.. i'll be one of them for sure
a little sad that artists like Khetzal and Concept have canceled.. i would love to see you reconsider but i understand your position.. i'm not here to judge the organization or the artists.. anyway.. i'm sticking to this festival with a few more friends.. we'll be buying our tickets at the gate on saturday afternoon..
whooyooo doy doy!

edit: lol i would be glad to give you a lift Mubali but we'll be north of Portugal and after that we'll go directly to Avis. but news on the site say the shuttles are confirmed.

Just got a phone call from a friend there...indeed, there is no set up at all, no stage, no sound system, no deco...

True...they have 2 days left, but that's a bit edgy for a festival, isn't it???
There are quite a few punters though...all having a good time apparently, besides they have showers, and toilettes up and running.
Doesn't sound too bad for a bit of a picnic.

SACRE BLEU!

Although I skipped this one I hope the people with courage enough to go, considering the bad signs, manage to create a wonderful time together

Wish you the best of luck and hope there will be a nice "save"
