Just 4 days left... And the stage isn't build or the decoration! Just bathrooms, showers and water!!! I’ve some friends that are working as volunteers and they transmitted to me this information… So Shamanik please move, you all need an Extreme Makeover!!! You also need a Ty with a megaphone shouting to the workers!!! LET’S MOVE IT!!!! |

I don't know how I'd call that...apparently is a mixture of languages mixed up very badly and trying to use all the possible grammatic mistakes of all languages at once, a damn good effort I must say.

Due to encountered problems with Shamanik organisation regarding advances, air tickets and contracts for some of our artists, we have to cancel the event for some of our live acts / dj sets. Here is the final list of cancelled or confirmed artists.
Confirmed artists :
- LIFE EXTENSION (rel. album 'SIDE EFFECTS' / 2007 / Avigmatic Rec)
- DJ SANGOHAN (will play extracts of upcoming V/A 'Positive Alchemists Vol. 3' / 2007 / Avigmatic Rec)
- ALOES
Cancelled artists :
- KHETZAL (trance live + ambient DJ)
- AVIGMATI (trance live)
- DJ CHAI (trance DJ + ambient DJ)
Not wanting to spread any bad vibes around the event itself and posting on this forum only for information purpose, I wish all comers and performers to have a great time at Shamanik ! Good luck and best vibes to everyone.

OK guys... I hear so much talk back and forth from people about all this and it truly saddens me. Ppl saying bad things about this festival without knowing whats truly going on just breed bad vibes and this is what is going to make or break this festival. The more shit talk being done by ppl the less ppl will go and THAT will make it not full and really fuck over JP.
He told everyone what happened and still ppl moan. Last week his partner and friend, and main investor stole his car and had a part in all the flights being cancelled ( he has now been caught and is in jail and JP has his car back thank god). JP and I have been on the phone and in constant contact about this for the whole time. He is persevering through all the stress when he could have easily just cancelled it .. but no, he has busted his ass and been up days rebooking flights and reconfirming artists. This morning he says he has about 80% of the lineup back and should be just about full by the fest, as he has few plane tix still to buy.
Look at Anders... Andromeda, Soul Surfer, and Chromosome... yes he didnt have anything money wise until today, but the fact JP still did get his advance and plane tix to him this close to fest proves he is still working his best to make this a good fest, and trying his very best to keep his word. Hes had to find a way to come up with tens of thousands of euros in just 2 weeks... come on guys, this is amazing he is still going forth and still even this late in the game trying to make good on his promises.
Many of the artists who have cancelled have been approached by him again to come, but refused. So all this talk about artists being cancelled and the lineup not being what it appears to be is not as you think. Imagine taking care of hundreds of ppls flights and restructuring a lineup this close to the fest, it is an almost near impossible task for one person to handle. He has a few ppl now he trust step in and help him with admin and paperwork, but it is still not enough to make this any easier on him.
He sent me last week advances for my artists going out, and plane tix just today, yes VERY late, but I can understand his issues and respect he still is doing what he said.
Please guys dont get fucked off with it and just go to the fest if you planned to, it is definately still happening... sound systems and everything now have been paid for and it WILL happen. The more of you guys that support something like this, the better it will be for everyone, and it will show JP that all this hard work did in fact pay off. He is an honest man and I will be so gutted for him and all the artists if ppl dont go from what they hear on this forum.
Im completely NOT having a go at all, but I am asking everyone to support a scene where festivals are struggling and keep it going and positive. OK so maybe it wont have the thousands youd hope, but I assure you the vibe will be good and the party will be brilliant.
I really hope I have changed some ppls minds and you can just go and have a good time, sometimes a few less ppl than you expected just tighten the vibe !!
