we do not want this bullshit capitalist promotion in our scene, because otherwise it will end up the same way as pop-music industry.
the stupid crowd only listen to the advertisements of the industry.
this way the industry defines what´s good and what´s not.
this is pure heteronomy.
we are autonomous and fight and disapprove this practice of "plastic-superficial-terrapark".
this is one of the many subversive political aspects of psychedelic culture!

I think it's a good remainder of how people in the forum are mostly nicknames, and nothing more than that. What makes Isratrance a community is the fact that some of us know one another, and have a vague idea of one's taste in music, so we can trust each other's taste. |

well in my opinion there is nothing wrong in a label promoting their music is there ? .. or an artist having his own label and promote the music ... is there ? !
mostly everyone uses a nick name here,and for my user name I chose to use my real name Aldo, as many know me I prefare that way
but it's a free world !

of course there's nothing wrong with label promoting its music.
That's why there is a "Promotional" forum.
But whats wrong is when labelowner logs in with a different name and country and writes (to himself) killlllllllllllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Not to long ago I had a really bad experience with this on my site. A Dj/Organiser had created a second acount which he used for several purposes, varying from giving himself good reviews when he played at parties, promote deco a relative of his made, add comments to his own top10's, and so on...
this was only the beginning however, not much later we found out he also used this alter ego to mail organisers not to book certain dj's "because they wouldn't fit in the line-up" and then shamelessly promote himself as a replacement (sometimes with succes!). This way directly causing other dj's to loose their well deserved chances to play at a party.
He was also caught discrediting organisers by writing bad reviews if they wouldn't let him play at a party they organised.
This took place during quite a few months untill we finally discovered all this, and by this time it had actually cost other people money.
We made this information public because I don't think behaviour like this should be tolerated from anyone. This caused an avalance of reactions both pro and contra the fact that we put this online... not much later we discovered that he even had a third account for the same task.
I think it's very sad that people to go this lenght for personal glorification, and abuse like this should not be tolerated in ANY way.

Egos egos and more egos they just want success a success not earned by hard work and love for the music but earned in a bad way and this never lasts long because the music they project is there inside ego! And no music made with ego can have a great success in a scene like ours!
