It may sound like a silly question, but can we expect some shade on the dancefloor?
If the sun is beating hard without shadow the dancefloor empties more quickly, which is bad..
But all the latest parties/festivals I've been in Swiss never had any shadow on the dancefloor (like Summer's End)...so I fear Save the Freaks may follow the same path..
I remember in 2000 (ages ago!) a great party in Mesocco when a very nice and effective shadow structure (decorated) was set up in few minutes in the hottest hours of the morining/afternoon
Something in that vein would be very welcome |

I totally agree! Some shadow should be a MUST, at least a chill area near the mainfloor.
Last year the sun was quite too much (funny how a GREAT DAY could be too much.. eheh) and after boiling my head I could not help out saving the freaks!!
PS. Another great idea could be water pistols, hehe lol

Hi Freaks,
how does it feel to be saved?
What an unforgettable experience....
On behalf of the whole BMSS Crew I would like to say my deepest THANX
to all the Freaks who made this gathering a special one!
Especially to Olmo and Ismi - Guys you did a fantastic job!
It was a pleasure for me playing at such an incredible event
- a Festival rather than a Party... full of magic, power and smiling people...
God really listened to our prayers and honoured our work with sunshine
during the whole day...
All the Deco Artists did as well great, creating an atmosphere you hardly
find on Party's anymore... even in Ticino...
Cosmic Walkers, David, Tibor, Carsten and all the other artists...
BOOM to YOU!
And as well a Big BOOM to all the Djs and Live Acts who set the Floor on fire!
Especially Rasael and Herve, WOW guys....what a killer Live Act...
and you guys just started....
I am really looking forward to hear your stuff in the future!
The Music was just great from the Progressive Beginning of In Tune Project,
via the darker sets at Night (BOOM Psysmael!) and then the morning and daytime....
Just Floatation
Really nice and sympathic party people all over....
it reminded me a bit of the Swiss-German parties ten years ago...
as well as Solipse 99... dancing in a little valley surrounded by green hills
covered with freaks having their chats and chillums... Wink
Just that the little valley was at the top of a botanical park,
surrounded by the Alps and the Lago di Lugano...
Really great to see that the park owners and people of Carona supported the Party
instead of working against it... and no complains at all....
I think I could go on and on writing down my impressions, cause my mind id still full of them...
but I think I will better let some photos speak for them self...
Again a big Thanx to Freak Time Productions and all friends and helpers!
You can be really proud of what you created!
We are looking forward for the 2008 Edition - Save the Freaks!

Hi Everybody,
it's kinda late to write here but I've been quite busy lately and I completly forgot.
The party was KILLER! I really enjoyed it and the vibe of the people is getting better year by year! As Armin said, makes you feel like @ old time parties!
I have to thank everybody for the party, the freaks, artists, decorators, all the helpful people and the Freak Time Productions!!! Also a special thanks to Goma for coming in Ticino cause is my fav Swiss artists
This party also had a big problem with the main dancefloor soundsystem (where I thought that Murphy's laws were against us) but the fast work of the organizer fixed up the problem!!
However my suggestions for next year is to add another bar, put more trashcans (maybe in the road to the party) and keep the same great decorators, location and people!!!
And please add a full-on artist during the night hehehe maranzaaaaa
Thank you Armin for your kind words, hope to see you soon in other parties! And thanks to all the freaks that came, we will try harder next year to save you!
Can't wait for the next edition!!!!
There's no two without a three! (I don't know if it makes much sense in English but in Italian it does!)
