Does Anybody knows if there is going to be a second boat leaving from lavrio port to samothraki?
I know that now there is only one departure per week and it is every friday. This is very inconvenient as you understand because Thursday is the day that the festival starts.
The previous years i know that they added an extra boat , what about this year?

According to Travellers info, The only direct boat to samothraki from lavrio is every Friday!
Actually i knew that..
i just ask if are going to be more boats that go direct from lavrio to samothraki..
I hope that is going to be one in Tuesday or Wednesday or even Monday..
Traveller where did you found that info ?

i think the best and easiest way to go to alexandroupoli from athens is the plane
many flights each days for about 70-80 euros |

well i'll be @ @thens on monday so i have loads of time to reach samothraki..
so i still think i'll rather take the train..

Traveller the train ticket costs 23.80 with the slow train (16 hours) and if you want a bed you pay an extra 8 euro.. and around 50-55 euro if you go with the fast train (11 hours)
Every day two slow trains leave from Athens to Alexandroupoli.
1: 14:30
2: 00:30 i think..
