if anyone needs a ride there and back to the NYC area (or on the way..) Jeff will do it for $100 in the DMT Shuttle. Capacity 8-10 people.
There is a 25% discount for prepaids whether in cash in person or via paypal.com to machinelf@brainmachines.com.
Add 10% if you need pickup at your door, otherwise pickup and dropofff will be inm the East Village.
First come first serve. All prepaids will be held in escrow until we get the fourth passenger.

worth mentioning that this is the same spot we held our summerfestival neptunalia (also where we will be next summer!) they are very happy to have us back.
if youre in the area, do not miss this 1.
we are gonna get seriously deep and wild. no sitting, just dancing, no stopping, just going!
also bring your mountain bikes for exploring the 900+ acres of land in the peak of fall season...beautiful.
what a bargain for the whole weekend only

Samadhi family reunion !
oct. 15-17th 2004
$20 for entry fee for Deerfields and
a donation to Touch Samadhi for putting it on.
When you arrive at the gate please close the gate behind you !!!! (this keeps
unwanted people out (the po-po). Then follow the TS reunion signs to the right.
you will be parking on and behind the main stage that was at neptunalia,
the camping will be in the field, and the party will happen where the kids area was
in the woods.
DJ's there will be a sign up sheet first come first serve basis !
DIRECTIONS TO DEERFIELDS
From the East or the West...
Follow I-40 to I-26.
Take I-26 East towards the Asheville Airport, then ...
From the North or the South...
Take I-26 to Exit 40 (Old Exit 9, Asheville Regional Airport Exit).
Take 280 West towards Brevard (go past the airport).
Go exactly 4.5 miles from the Airport Road Exit and turn right
on South Mills River Road. It's the next right past the turn for
North Mills River Campground.
Stay on South Mills River Road for 5 miles to the dead end.
Turn right on the newly paved (Watagnee Trail)...
you'll see the Deerfields Sign
Come up the Watagnee Trail for .3 mile. Stay straight where the road narrows (bear
right of the Deerfields Sign) and you'll drive through the Deerfields entrance.
Continue up the driveway for .7 mile to the Cabin\Lake area.

follow pass the amphitheater all the way up to the cabins and bear right , pass the
lake and stay right! Follow though the orchards and across the bridge.

Brought my friend to this little get together - her first goa party.
Walking towards the music after setting up camp, I asked her to imagine being given a book that would be unlike anything she had ever read, or watching a movie that would be different than anything she had ever watched. I asked her to imagine the anticipation, the excitement, the tinge of fear. We walked up the dark path, following the light glow of bagged candles. Overhead was a canopy of mountain laurel, invisible in the night and yet felt - like a tunnel.
As we neared the music the tunnel ended, and what seemed to be a doorway glowed with eerie UV light. The sound of pounding bass became louder and louder...
We crested the through the doorway and into the pounding energy field of throbbing bass and electric lighting. A fire burned with watchers watching and dancers dancing.
I could tell she was overwhelmed, consumed, in a state of shock. I began to dance for a bit, to shake off the stresses of the 'real' world, a smile on my face. Ah, how I remembered that first time I came to a goa party... being overwhelmed.
Later she said to me: "by the time we got to the top of the path, if there had been a spaceship there I wouldn't have been surprised. That was unlike anything I have ever experienced."
Oh, and: "I want to go again. Can I borrow some of your trance cds?"
