yes .. very nice that u are making such a beautiful gathering for the tribes. But honestly, the line up would have been good for 2005-2006. You should start listening to music. Music has really changed since then.

yes, music changed - to much more positivity and towards the light....the darkness is also interesting but the light has the answers - imho...
i think like every summer - all over europe in summer there are so many festies - i'm sure there are also a few for your taste - and because of this fact, there is no need of lineup talks anymore...i think lot of cutting edge - new and crispy sounds in the bags of them acts performing @ sun - for sure!

absolutely. progressive has taken to new directions since then and goa has come back with new ideas. psytrance has also evolved, there's great new stuff from the old masters and from newcomers.

and besides that, some of the old tunes are just way too good to be forgotten (and for many of the younger generation that missed the 90s and who are used to the sound popular now, classics like teleport or something similar do indeed sound fresh and new).

i see a good and balanced mix of the best things from back then, and the best things from here and now. and all of it is properly psychedelic.

yes. and diversity is a good thing. as the family grows and matures it inevitably "broadens" and there have to be events with a different focus to make everyone still feel at home. there are festivals like the psycrowdelica with a wholly different focus and although it's not my style, it's still good such a thing exists and is still part of the family.

I am happy for the people who are happy and as said before there are enough of festivals over the summer with many different styles. but IMHO i expected much more of this crew... as they announced before groundbreaking... cutting edge well it's almost identical with festivals in 2004, 2005.

The groundbreaking ,evolutionary part is still to come but it has more to do with the way the festival works rather than the line up .

But please wait for it and pass judgement only then !
Give us a chance !

all the best

That is very thoughtful of you. I was not complaining.. I just wrote because I had lot of expectations from this festival.

+1

I need to clone myself for the summer.

As for the darkpsy shortage, I fully support it!           www.soundcloud.com/pseehaw

Definitely! We would love to hear the ground breaking concept of this festival. And I hope it fascinates all of us

However, musically I would have liked more diversity. Sub genres such as Forest and Twilight are severely underrepresented. The propagators of progressive trance may differ by saying that there are many "other festivals" that cater to different styles. But it should not be like that. We need to respect everybody's taste. The reality is that for a complete musical journey all sub genres of Psychedelic Trance need to be represented.

Bubble, what would be the best way to send you my extensive review of Ozora 2011. You guys organized it very well. I would like to give you my feedback (which I shared on Ozora 2012 forum)to help your crew understand what worked and what did not

Big Love. V

for those complaining about the lineup i've got a couple of questions for you:

what did you think of the ozora dancefloor (the ozora's that were organized up until 2011) ?

to be honest, i have been around the world to parties and festivals, and have never in my 12 years of partying have seen any dancefloor like ozora, when it was smaller in 2009 which was my first and when it was as big as it got in 2011 - absolutely no dancefloor had these out of this world vibes, wicked energies and crazy people all throughout the festival, practically every day at any time. maybe at some times there were less people on the dancefloor, but the vibes and energies were the same!

im not such a fan of proggy, absolutely despise minimal and dont really get along with music higher than the 150bpm range which ozora had always had plenty of at night (at least when i was there) - but the vibe and energy made me not pay too much attention to what my ears are hearing and get carried away with the energies - isnt that what the festival is about? i mean you can hear the music you love at home, but to get to dance your ass off with these amazing festival people in such a setting? for me that beats everything, even if its not music i like so much (and i tend to criticize the music at parties, lately even too much) - i mean sure youd like to do what i just said having your favorite music played, but even if you dont get it, the vibe beats the music for me - hell it got me not to dislike proggy/zenonesque and some dark stuff as much as i used to and even like some of it

actually come to think of it, there were artists that i expected to hear so much, that i got really disappointed with what they played when they got on - so honestly, lineup does mean alot, but if you have been to the festival and know what its like, and it has some of the music you like (it doesnt have to be ALL, thats the meaning of diversity) - dont give it that much of a weight when deciding if to go or not. hell, if my decision would have solely been based on the lineup, i might have not made it to ozora 2011 which for me is by far the craziest dancefloor i've ever been to

Line-up is killer, although a bit more dark would be nice.

But how is the venue. What kind of place?

Is there corn fields beside stage and tents where you can do some stargazing with your festival girlie in the middle of the night, while listening to dark psy (and lose your keys, wallet and cell phone in the process ).

yes of course its great as long as music is balanced.. play some forest/darkpsy even some hitech at nighttime and when the SUN comes out powerfull morning music and progressive tunes can appear..there are so many good artists for the right time.. pls confirm more of them..u know!!!
and as for the people who saying there are other festivals with different styles to go... isnt right.. why...people? cause you dont like dark? u know..i like too, to go to a place with such a good energy and creativity sourounding it and listen to my fav. tunes..would you like all the line up to be apart only with dark music..? no...! thats right!!!make a good balance and it will come back to you!!
not that i have problem with morning music or prog..i grew up with those styles and i still like to dance them.
but its very important to be balanced as long as we belong to the same tribe/family to be all happy!right...?
