^^Another proof that the organisers didn't want to make a story with the line up and acctualy nobody care about the music.
There is night music, there is music for daylight and many styles in between and ofcourse there is variety of people who enjoy one or the other...
Putting the most psychedelic underground artist with the bunch of progresive and fullon music together for me is realy rediculous...
Unfotunately 99% of the big festivals are just all the time with the same program inviting the same popular artist to attract more and more people but losing the connection between the artist and the moment of all night dancing...
Sorry if I am pathetic and I am taking care about one of the most important things at the festival - music!!!

Yeah these evil organizers always trying to fool us, none of them care about music , they never do. They just make giant music festivals to trick everybody. See the proof is in the pooding, there is no psychedelic music in this festival because its all full on and progressive. We are all being fooled

^^No u are not being fooled mate, its very simple u just like progresive and full on(same as i like more psychedelic, none predictable, and more complex stuff) that's why u are happy with the line up and u can't understand me...
The fact is there is only 2 "night" names(dont wanna use the word dark) in the line up and my question was how they are thinking to connect with all the rest of the music...
Looks like there will be another disaster like 2009 at Ozora when after Shpongle live was Alpha & Antagon with 170bpm music grrrrrrrr 
Thats why i says there is a lot of music in between wich can connect the story from Shpongle to Alfa&Antagon and back...but only 10% of the organiers care about this...
and yess that's my point of view!

Hey buddy, maybe the 5 surprise acts will all be 'night' so the two they already have will be connected with the rest  Nah, I'm just kidding. Look, I get your point.. But I think, when you're organizing such kinds of events, it's only reasonable you cannot make everybody happy.. And the fact that they always have to make such arrangements (who will play, when, and why) like half a year (and even sooner) in advance, makes things even harder. Maybe that's the reason only 10% of organizers care about this stuff. So I'm guessing that it's not that they don't care, but it's rather pretty complicated job to do..

Just like you said: "...one of the most important things at the festival" - not necessary the most important thing. I think you're missing the point of this festival my friend...
Let's try to support this crew and see what will happen... If they fail, we'll have plenty of time to criticise them. A little bit of trust and patience from our side is all they need right now.
I myself prefer dark psy, but have no problem to listen any kind of trance music as long as the atmosphere at the party is ok.
As log as people around me are safe, happy and peaceful, I wouldn't bother myself too much about music...
I understand what are you talking about, but I think we shuold trust these guys now and support them. This is the firt year of S.U.N. and it's very important for success to show our patience (despite of the fact that crew have a lot of experience in this kind of events).
See you on the dance floor in july!

@nobody - your point is clearer now, but i dont necessarily agree with you on the transition thing as you dont know the actual lineup (in terms of whos after who and what they'll play) and im pretty sure its taken into consideration, nobody likes these ruff switches
you are somewhat right about the way it was in ozora 2009, but i kinda understand it as shpongle opened that night (i guess the organizers wanted to amass a crowd) and then they moved to their night music program (btw that set was indeed horrible, at least for me ) |

Did I miss something? Yeah, there is a Lineup...but its not a timetable, so one cannot really tell yet which acts are playing after another.
Or am I blind and there is already a timetable somwhere?
I get the point tho...alpha direcly after shpongle was a bit shocking for me too back then (and i don't really like the dark stuff) But in the last years I also cared less and less about timetables and specific acts...I just went dancing when I wanted to and it worked out pretty well....

no, it happened, because no darkpsy was played. just kidding of course
i wonder why it is, that people are always bitching about there not being enough darkpsy on an obviously not darkpsy-centered festival (sun festival is not an exception here). i mean i don't go to the psycrowdelica thread, call it an unbalanced lineup and demand logic bomb, dimension 5, filteria or ovnimoon there...
and besides that, i can imagine lots of possible constellations for derango. for instance after a zenon records artist (or after penta or -Z-) and before penta or -Z- or as warmup for pleiadians. that's just a few examples and with the dj sets in between the possibilities are endless. |

woohoo love that video, love TIP (lucky enough to get a live retro set here in 2 weeks ), love the innocent feel of it those times (or so it seems ).
but to the topic at hand, both pad and nobody make valid points, i mean it seems like its a festival he really wants to go to so hes expressing his opinion and maybe influence the orgs. - but its their agenda and it works for a lot of people obviously (me included), so make your choices accordingly - i mean honestly when you try to satisfy everybody and stray away from your agenda it looks and feels like a mess (easy case to reference - boom 2010's lineup which was an absolute MESS, minimal noon till break, goa in between proggy sets and so on, whoever's been there knows exactly what im talking about) - so if you trust the orgs let them do what they obviously know how to do, it aint their first festival after all |

Ok folks! This is a forum. Which means everybody is free to express her/his opinion. Somehow, in this thread, any forthright feedback is considered unacceptable. I am sure the organizers themselves don't feel that way. They would probably like to hear all voices and appreciate different perspectives. After all, this what the psychedelic movement is all about!
