very nice topic bro...
A very good way to get people into the scene is to educate them abt the whole SCENE itself. Its not just the music...but also the other things involved around it...like art... the very feeling of being urself and not worry abt the world behind u...the feeliong of being with friendly people...the feeling of being a family...showing them party clips and videos could also make a lot of difference... and a very strong part that a lot of people tend to look over...is the chill out music/scene part of it... iknow couple of people who got hooked on to psy through chillout and art. these are some of the things that u can also look into besides the regular other things!

indeed a very nice topic... congratulations...
by my own xxxperience (heheh) I belive that the best way to introduce ppl to trance is by taking them to a party... there he or she will have the hole package... they will hear the music... interact with the ppl... see the decoration... art...
after any party the right ppl will stay 4 ever... if don´t it´s because they are not meant to it...

Like it has been said before the right people will find there own way there. No one invited me to go to a party, I found it myself because I was interested in what a psytrance party would be like, after hearing an astral projection cd my friend reccomended me. You can play a trance cd to someone so they can understand what it sounds like, but its when they go to a pary that they understand the full concept of trance music.
I totally agree with Soul Kontakt on this one. When people go to trance partys to take drugs and not to dance to trance the atmosphere gets harmed and everyone feels it.
The first party I went to got harmed in this way because it got advertised in shops and alot more students started going and the amount of hippie type people started decreasing  . Now its a mission for me to try and find more underground partys, to get that great vibe and to meet them great people.
