I'll be there for sure. Can't wait to see the local trance family again!

And to answer Paradigm's question...

Othermind Productions is something we've had in the "works" for awhile now but just haven't had the opportunity to use yet. Othermind was created to give us an outlet to throw events that are not exclusively psytrance. Funny that this is an all psy party! But it is also a moniker to use when not all of the Overmind Works members are involved in the event.

Dam that was fun!

Resonance was off the hook! A huge thank you to the many people who braved the journey to make it out to this. The Phoenix Psytrance Family kicks ass! Everyone was in great spirits all night long on into the morning. Its amazing the things that can be created simply by combining forces and sharing resources. Many many thanks to all of those who contributed in various ways to execute this smoothly and without problems. You all know who you are

The sky put on quite a show! Why bring in lighting and visuals when you have a killer meteor shower!!! I must've seen well over 20 meteors flaring across the sky with the milky way galaxy highly visible in the background.

The music heard at Resonance was excellent all night long. Not one single dull moment was had. The night started off with Professor X initiating the liftoff and gettin off to a quick start of thumpin psybeats. He continued on as night fell upon us as more and more trancers started to pour onto the dancefloor. At this point, WendyJ and Mark Evan took the controls and played a very tasteful variety of psytrance. Gwyn and Hahn then proceeded to bring on the dark and twisted aural assault. I actually think that many of the newcomers to psytrance were quite terrified by the carnage that was eminating from the speakers. Hahn played quite a long and adventurous set throughout most of the night whos track selection and mixing skills were quite impressive. I even heard a psytrance remix of the Doors "Light my fire"! As the morning began to set in and meteors continued to come down, Nick Synergy and Zombie took over and brought in the always refreshing morning trance. Those who were left dancing after the dark madness were doing so with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. As the sun came over the mountain and light rays poured into the dancefloor the music slowly came to a halt and everyone in great spirits started to pack up and get ready to head back society.

Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this event!
Thank you to all who attended!

See you at the next Phoenix Psytrance Gathering!

A big thank you to the OvermindWorks family and friends for hosting me - I really enjoyed meeting you all and getting acquainted with your local eateries.

The desert is really beautiful and the meteors were putting on quite a show. With the lights above, new surroundings, and increasingly energetic sonic assault, this was quite psychedelic for me. I would have liked to have heard longer sets from Nick and Zombie, but once the sun peaked the insects were feeding like flies on a rib roast. Mad respect to the audio navigators and OMW crew.

BTW the OvermindWorks site is very snappy - I enjoyed reading the BIOS and getting a few laughs. Hope to be back again soon.           ELECTRON EYES / MARK-EVAN (NOR. CAL)

Wow! what to say about an event that defied all expectations. First of all, I want to give a huge thanks to all the DJs, promoters, support staff, and trancers who braved the roads, desert heat, and insect bombardment to celebrate life with us this last weekend. It was truly a memorable experience and I'm glad I was able to be a part of it. Huge props to Eric for your help in putting this all together. It was great working with you, and I look forward to more events in the future. Thanks to all the out-of-town Audio Navigators (Mark, Wendy, Gwyn, and Cody). You guys all played great sets, and we'll get you the recordings asap. I'm glad everyone seemed to enjoy the location (though maybe not the road to it). It was brand new for us, but it's so beautiful and secluded that we'll definitely be trancing again there soon. I hope everyone who came out had as great a time as I did getting it all put together. See you all next time.

WOW! what a great time - great organizing, great crowd, great deco, great location, and of course great music. That party was truly magical, especially with the amazing meteor shower - who could ask for more?? The road was fine - trust me I've seen worse and I met so many new folks that we'll be seeing again. That walk through the rattlers was a scene outta natural born killers wasn't it?!? - can't wait to rock it again in AZ!! - luv you guys - gwyn

cool. I'm glad to see at least one of us remembered to take pictures

Thanks again to everyone for putting together such a great event. Even the Universe obliged with a meteor shower of grandiose proportions. And that site was amazing. It'll be even better in the winter when there's far fewer bugs, etc. to worry about.           "Every generation needs a new revolution." ~Thomas Jefferson

Thank you Overmind crew, especially Micah, for your gracious hospitality! You have some really great people around you. I am super glad I finally got to come out to spin at one of your gatherings. The location was absolutely gorgeous! I got mostly sunrise pictures. The sound was great, too. The first one I spotted on the dance floor was this huge, gorgeous tarantula, shortly after we arrived for set up. Needless to say, the flip flops were changed to uggs immediately following the big fuzzy spider's media frenzy. He was such a celebrity! Everyone got snapshots of him. I heard someone put him in a cup once the party got going, so that he wouldn't get stomped by a dancer.

I spent alot of my time, laying in a tent, looking up at the meteors, trying to get a picture of one. No luck with that, but I too, got some snaps from the party and of the gorgeous Saguaro desert scenery surrounding us.

I enjoyed playing for you guys. I hope you will have me at an event in the future.

Much love!
wendy j

Thanks for the kind words, Wendy. To yourself, Mark, Cody, and especially Gwyn, it was great having all of you out for our latest event. You guys played the top shelf tunes all night long. I apologize that the recordings didn't turn out. I really wanted to hear everyone's set again. Ah well, next time.

We'll be busy again with outdoor events coming up in the next couple months. Stay tuned for more info...           "Every generation needs a new revolution." ~Thomas Jefferson
