Stimulate Productions, in association with Othermind Productions, presents:
Resonance

Saturday, August 11th, Phoenix is in for a real treat. Some of the hottest psytrance talent
from the West Coast and the East Coast will be in town for one night only to rock your face with
the sickest psytrance beats you've ever heard. Featuring audio navigation by:

Hahn the Barbarian (AZ, Overmind Works) -
Hahn's mind began making sense of electronic music
in 1992 with the acquisition of a home computer and the installation of Mechwarrior 2. Through
a string of events and circumstances several years ago, Hahn met Dr. Bones and assisted him in
laying the foundation for what is now Overmind Works. Consistent practice and experimentation
behind the mixer led to Hahn's realization of the label now worn by all music manipulators in the
Overmind Works crew: "Audio Navigator" ("AuNav" for short). Ongoing projects for this
Senior AuNav include mix CD collaborations with Nick Synergy and the conception and implementation
of the "Audio Navigators" series of mix CDs, which will demonstrate the many areas of psytrance's diversity.

Mark-Evan (San Jose) -
One of the San Francisco scene's hidden prospects, Mark has been following the artists
and trends in electronic music for over ten years. His sets are precisely engineered to suit time
and place with an emphasis on structure and sound quality. Mark-Evan is also planning to release artist
material in the very near future.

Wendy J (LA, http://www.wendyj.net) -
Although Wendy J has been a relatively short-time part of the SoCal trance scene (2003),
her full on performances are long remembered. She's rocked audiences with her full-on, but funky,
dark-but-happy, extremely dance-provoking sets at events like Shambhala, (BC, Canada), Outpsyed (Calgary, Canada),
Kinetic (Seattle), Phoenix Festival (Washington), Burning Man (Psytribe camp), Second Nature (L.A.),
L.A. Decomp (Green Sector), and many other events around Southern California. She is very excited
to come to Phoenix and rock you here!

DJ Lucina (NY, Ectoplasmic) -
Entering the West Coast psytrance scene with a Blam! in 2004 DJ Lucina (aka Gwyn) has been tearing
it up with her full on morning sets at parties all across the western US. After spending a
year in the deserts of New Mexico, DJ Lucina has reemerged on the East Coast as a full spectrum
nighttime DJ ready to knock you socks off. Enjoy!

Venue: TBA
Suggested donation: $5
Join us for a night of mad stomping somewhere in the Valley as we welcome three friends and fellow
psyheads to share the stage for the first time right here in Arizona. More details as they emerge.          "Every generation needs a new revolution." ~Thomas Jefferson

@ $.20 - Yeah, it's kinda like that. We were lucky enough to have the lineup, but not enough lead time to make it a full-fledged OMW event.

This will be an outdoor event. For directions, email syntax@cox.net with "Resonance" in the subject. You will be sent directions probably late friday/early saturday.

You guys are sick with the virus. Psytrance is taking over your mind, he,he,he. I'm coming down there soon. Another friend of mine wants to throw an event there in Phoenix and is getting his crew together. I'm going to hook him up with you guys and see if we can get a collaberation going. Unite the teams of AZ. The lineup looks great. Hahn, next years Gemini for you buddy! I won't take NO for an answer.

Sweet!!! Lets do this! Just let us know when your coming by and we'll get somthing together.

This is shaping up to be quite the party. I've already got alot of deco supplies just for this occassion, I've made some UV artwork and some string art as well.

Can't wait to jam out to some good tunes while catching some meteors that night.

Friday, August 10, 2007. The legendary Perseid meteor shower will peak in the next few days.

It’s expected to display the greatest number of meteors Sunday morning (August 12), late Sunday night and Monday morning (August 13) before dawn. But you’ll see some Perseids Saturday (August 11) before dawn, too.

The moon is new on Sunday, or between the Earth and sun. This new moon will leave the night sky dark all this weekend for the Perseid meteors. These meteors are named for the constellation Perseus the Hero. If you trace the paths of the meteors backwards, they seem to stream from this constellation.

You don’t need to identify Perseus to enjoy the meteor shower. The Perseids are a especially rich and dependable meteor shower. They shoot all across the sky – often leaving persistent trains – and occasionally lighting things up with bright fireballs. To watch the show, find a dark, open sky. Get away from city lights, and give your eyes at least 20 minutes to adapt to the dark. The Perseid shower favors northern hemisphere skywatchers. Again, the best time to watch: Sunday morning, late Sunday night and Monday morning before dawn. At its peak, the Perseids typically produce 60 or more meteors per hour.

HELL YEAH!!!

Just a few more days
Weather report looks fantastic (for August in the desert). I can't wait to see everyone this Saturday.
