I know there is a rank given to each user by the number of posts, junior, full, senior etc.
but i also noticed that some of us have no rank at all (like me), i'm not complaining or anything, actually i prefer it this way, but i wonder why is it this way? |

Still can't find the answer...
for example- acidonacid, you are a full member, i am not a member at all (by rank definition), but i'm still registered and all... so whats the difference?
by the way - from the guidlines you are supposed to be a professional member, and your definition is full, i saw many mismatches like this around the forum.
so what does it mean? there is no meaning? |

i think you're wrong man, before they launched the new design i had something like 2000 posts and the rank changed by the number of posts with no connection to the number of topics.
moderators please help us solve this mystery!

You're right but discussing it in public is so much fun!
Sorry about that, by the way- i came back to this forum after a long time and i'm happy to see the offtopic posts aren't deleted as fast as before (if at all) and that there is much more freedom of speech, even if that means we repeat the same subject a few times.
I agree that the "mother of all basslines" kinds of threads are too much though. |

That is the reason i came back to this forum... it seems much more relaxed and fun now. I can understand that on a trance forum you want people talking about trance but there is nothing more boring than some guy who talks about the same thing day in day out. You need a bit of variety to stop it getting dull.
This should be a place for people with a common interest in this kind of music and not just some kind of officious information store.
Props to the mods... this is a great forum!
