when others play.. that depends..
as evry trance lover if the music "doin" it to me offcourse i dance 
fluffy music and boring music dont work for me i feel its "dance" music and excuse me i think in psytrance there is more then dance! something about... psy?..
well naturally evryone got his style..
thousands of pplz dig music sometimes i think tend to insult me as listener-one note basslines no sufisticated beats -so predictable brakes... and fuckin boring - kitzur! that i cant dance.. 
so its all about the music (and drugs) mostly i do dance since im not goin to where i know gonna b lineup i dont like..

I ONLY dance if the tunes are banging!
Although i do like music like Eskimo.....i can't dance to it.....too many little breaks.
But its nice to dance behind the decks too.
If the music is not to my liking.....i will just stand and bop my head!

when i play live i can say i bang my head as a mad man  but i can`t dance and play hehehe... in my dj set, its a little bit the same when the mixes are on, but when its a good mix or a banging tune i need to move my body
when other people is playing, it depends (as a lot have said) in the music, and i really apreciate a dj that do mix... so if the tunes are mixed like 2 horses in a race, i can`t dance to it, but if the dj is good i definitely will dance, and jump all across the dancefloor with a big smile

oh and sometimes i really can`t dance when the music is really out of this world and BANGING GOOD because my mind is thinking about how they did it heheh but that doesn`t means that i don`t like it.

If that's true for some DJ's here, they don't belong in this scene.....That's retarded...Egotistical DJ's usually suck anyway! No feeling or true connection involved as they are usually trying to make you feel the way they do, rather than partying with you!
I think it's more that DJ's tend to want to study more about others style when they get a chance....
I am a DJ, sometimes, and I always dance unless I am busy working (not DJ'ing, but other things around the party). I started DJ'ing because of how it made me feel to dance to this music...I would be stupid to lose touch of that.
And Tron, you have a big point there......
