from the human point of view
the real purpose is to enjoy life and the human body.
from nature point of view we are in the food chain
so it is to eat and to be eaten
if you are looking for love you not going to find it
love is an invention of human been

nature is not based on god ore love
is based on survival

Well, speaking on my own experience, I've discovered that the things of this world will lead to deception only, you can be filthy rich, worldwide famous, drop dead gorgeous, supremely powerful, have a beautiful wife, and anything you want but you will still feel that there is something missing, unless you develop an intimate and personal relationship with your inner self, that omnipresent spirit that is behind everything.
if you develop that relationship then your life (at least mine) will become fulfilling and inspiring, and the highest goal is to attain unity with that being, the name is not important, the truth lies deep within your heart.

nah, I dont get u.. how u gonna connect with yourself? u cant connect with something when that something is already u.. but u can connect with supersoul thats in you, me and all others.. so actually u cant realize your self if u dont realize god, thats the whole point.. knowing god automatically brings knowing of yourself, your constitutional position, who your are and what u need to do, what is your purpose here, purpose of life itself..
there is no relationship between u and u, that cannot be, u gotta have two to have relationship..
one more thing, how can u have realtionship if u even dont know the name of person with who u have relationship?

To know yourself is a very difficult thing!!!
Have you ever taken yourself an interview?
Have you ever went for a coffee with yourself to discuss some things?
Have you ever argued with yourself?
I have done it a lot of times an every time i find things that i didn't know...
It may sound weird but we have many things inside us and many opinions that must come to a conclusion...
You have to choose some basic things.
You can't love and hate the same thing as you can't walk two opposite roads as you can't have two "masters" or two "gods" cause you are going to end up between these two where no one wants you and where the "dragon" waits to "eat" you...
It is a path which comes first before you find the god inside you!
You must choose which god you want to find!
For me is the god of LOVE!
This god i am trying to find!

To me that is not very normal.. Can u explain how u talk with yourself and if you talk what do others say about it cause to me that would be strange if I see someone in the bar talking with himself..
god of love is the only god, there is no other gods.. thats only in the movies, pc games and such, u know, god of war and all that crap..

U have three modes of nature, namely goodness, mode of passion, and mode of ignorance..

procreation and dying is how animals live, they dont know for something higher.. but human being is the only one who is asking himself what is the purpose of life, who am I and where do I come from, at least any intelligent human does, thats why this thread started in the first place and thats sign of humanity.. if we should only create life and die than why are we discussing this topic anyways

just because books and religion and Discovery channel portray animals as sub-species means nothing!
I think if animals could speak, they would teach us a billion times more than your shamans, priests, preachers, LSD cults leaders etc.

Just because a few trippers here and there ask what the purpose of life does not make us any more intelligent, it just shows a few have nothing better to do than smoke pot and pretend to be smart arses!

I mean seriously, if we were so damn intelligent we'd have the fucking answers by now, but we are no further than when we first climbed out of the primordial ooze.

Animals do nothing more than fill out karma they deserve, and that goes by the process of evolution. Gradually from life to life they develop to the human form of life. When in human form they have option to go again in the animal world if they have animal desires and are doing everything u mentioned in your post or to keep it simple being worst animal there is. But if some of those millions of people are lucky enough in their search and stumble upon a saintly person they have the opportunity to go the spiritual plane and leave this material form of life forever.
I dont drool over some chica when I see her fine looking legs cause I can see that shes so ignorant and tries to get my attention to her lower parts of the body. However Im also the worst animal cause I cant attain love for god, in spite of the fact that I have all the answers I could possibly ask questions to.. Some saintly persons have the ability to talk with animals.. Simply cause of the fact that god is in each and every one of us, animal or human, supersoul is in everyones heart and cause of it we can all make contact between ourselves.. In fact persons which realized god can even free the soul of animal and take it to the spiritual realm. So again to conclude, we are all animals if we dont love god or at least search for him..
I was writing this in a hurry so maybe it isnt unerstandable so much.. I have some few thoughts to add related to human vs animal differences..
One more less important difference between humans and animals is that humans can predict the future, while animals cant. Take for example a cow that is destined to go to slaughterhouse, they are gonna kill that cow but if u give her some grass she will be happy, she will forget that shes gonna be slaughtered in no time.. Humans know whats going on..
Also humans are responsible for their deeds while animals arent, humans cant go with a loaded gun on the street and kill people while animals can kill and they wont take any bad karma for it.. Those are just few less important differences but most important is ability to love god..

xrays, I get a sense that you are just repeating a lot of stuff you have read or heard somewhere else and you are now stating it all as if it's fact even though you are not talking from experience or about things which you have seen and confirmed with your very own eyes.
I mean how can you be so sure that animals are supposed to evolve/reincarnate into humans? Like do you remember when you were a frog or an insect? Even if you say you do, how can everyone else be sure that you are not just channeling this from your own wishful thinking or imagination?
IMO you are assuming a lot when you put yourself above animals or for that matter any living being, be it a cat or plant.
And about humans being no more than a virus with shoes, hehe.. It's an interesting perspective but I don't think its as simple as that and it really all just depends on how you want to look at things because a virus probably has also its place in the universe, and you don't have to see it in a negative way.
In the end I think we want to look for a positive perspective on humanity and try and nourish and support the idea that we can move beyond all the stuff we don't like about ourselves and believe that we can find a harmonious relationship with our environment. |
