I hate that I'm going to have to scroll past this garble to follow a thread I normally enjoy reading. Well, I really miss going to the weekly. Hopefully we will start something up here that will give us our midweek fix. Wendy I'm so glad your set went over so well. See you soon.....

The last one (Konflux?) was terrible

Come on, konflux was the best. Really different.

I have just spent some time at NYC, this is where I've started going to parties, and this is where my musical taste have changed dramatically. Before that I listened a lot to "quality trance" for about a year, but never been to parties.

Wednesday night was great - it was really good seeing you out, Wendy. I want to send my thanks to Spyros and the rest of the psytribe for opening the temple every week. I registered on Isratrance just to give you the props you deserve.

I'd like to add a short comment on music (DJ) criticism. Some tracks (and some artists and some DJs) are perfect for the meditation I look for on the dance floor. That's cool. But when the music isn't perfect for me it doesn't mean I pout or go home - I just focus more on the music and less on my complaint. The result of the added focus is an enjoyable experience... instead of a reason to bitch out the DJ.

Of course, no added focus was needed this week, and I can usually get my groove even with the darkest of dark (bring it on, xenomorph!), but occasionally I long for the relentless driving Goa beats ala Gil. But if a person is letting the music upset them, then that person has missed the point of "trance". It's a mediation, Eugene. If you don't like the meditation someone is leading, find another one - but try to avoid pissing on the meditations being used by others. We're all, after all, just trying to reach nirvana.

OK This is not my kind of meditation this is what I'm saying over and over!!! I hate this music when it's at the end and there is nothing I can do about it. This is why I'm going to find consolation in progressive house, this is a much better meditation for me than what was in Wednesday. I'm bitching because all of the troubles I had to go through just to come to this party, otherwise probably I woudn't be so loud. Similar thing happened to me just before leaving NYC. I wanted one more party, cause I really like the NYC scene, for this I've defered my flight to California. And what I got was 2 international artists that didn't show up, and star trek DJs at the end. I was soooooooooooooooo pissed off and complained very loudly about this too.

Surrender just kicked me out, so I won't be writing here anymore, not even to defend myself from your attacks. Bye everybody!

if user:psy_eugene was really "kicked out" he would show an "inactive user" i simply asked him to go by the guidelines of our forum which he agreed to upon signing as a user or leave. he chose the latter.

now lets concetrate on the topic at hand and enough of the offtopic personal bullshit. this was a nice thread and its gone horribly off mark.          "On the other hand, you have different fingers."
