I haven't been going to the weekly too much these days but I did go last night and just wanted to share a couple things I got out of it.
Firstly, in these days where everyone is playing such kickass sets that always have the dancefloor rocking till the last beat, I've found that there's always, no matter who's playing, some moment in their set that really hits a golden moment. You know what I'm talking about. I can never tell how how long it lasts cos in that moment, time doesn't exist. It could be two minutes, it could be two hours. I just realized it last night. I spent most of my time outside so didn't catch all of their sets but when I did go in to listen, I caught both the DJs golden moments. How lucky is that.
The other thing I wanted to say is If you're the first DJ on our Wednesday nights, don't feel your set is not important, or not the special one of night just cos it's the 'opening' set. You'd be surprised how important and special your set is to some people. Even if it's just one or two people. So when it comes time for your last track, the one you've been planning for the moment, stay up there on stage and enjoy it with us till the track is done, so when it is done you can receive the gratitude that's due from those who were touched.
Also wanted to give some props to Jeto and say that this guy's been into the music for quite a long time, and with that comes some knowledge and experience of the Goa sound and spirit. The last track he played was the perfect track to end with, to my ears. It showed a humble and wise sensibility that I only hear from DJs from the old school.
And of course Adam, being the experienced professional he is, followed it up very nicely.
This is the last PsyTibe PsyFix Weekly of 2005 and I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say Thank You All who come out regularly or come out sporadically and share your time and energy on and off the dancefloor. We are definatley one big extended family and everytime you are there (and also those who are not there  ) you may not know it, but you may be contributing to someone's very special moment that will be part of them forever.
All the DJs and artists, Aviram with the sound and all those who lend a hand making this happen - you are all the best. Andy and Spyros you guys are pretty good too. Spyros, with his consistent diligence every Wednesday deserves an extra toast.
Have fun on New Years Eve wherever you find yourself and see you guys next year.

btw.
we had our last ultrasound today and Davian Alexander is A-OK, healthy and all that good stuff! I just cant wait for him to get here! Wish us luck!

Sorry but this is a cheap plug for my set that is playing on Zia Trance. Has nothing to do with Psyfix right now...
