Ive never been to a party in a warehouse but i find the idea pretty good...if the sound was nice it would be pretty good...i always skip parties in clubs though....

warehouses/hangars can be nice yeah 
As for what is being played where: in belgium you'll find progressive house / techno / trance in clubs, but never full on. there isn't a single club that claims to play "goa" or whatever you want to call it, but the word progressive keeps coming back.

Folkz, trance music becoming club music from day to day, I hardly see a difference from a prog house club and prog trance club - just the ppl maybe different a bit.
Obviously trance parties are for the nature - but some ppl don't care about getting some diggin in some dark closed club. Those ppl are what the clubs for. Not for me though
moreover, they put mostly diggin minimal or diggin full on in clubs... do you see the connection? I hope I don't.

i wouldn't know the mentality in clubs, i never go there anymore (been maybe ... 5 years since i went to clubs in belgium)
