Psyshop! Am i the only one?

I ordered about 100 CDs from psyshop and NEVER had any problems with delivery, delays or payment. For me psyshop.com is the best alternative, because their prices are low, they process the orders very fast and they're close to Poland where I live.
I even looked at the alternatives, especially saikosounds and chaosunlimited, because psyshop does not always has what I need in stock. However the first one is too far away, so I'd have to wait longer and pay additional taxes and chaosunlimited seemed very expensive (well, England is an expensive country...).
And about 45 sec samples - firstly, they're shorter than for example on saikosounds, but they are recorded with much higher bitrate, so if you want to judge the production values of a CD, there's no better choice. Secondly, do you really think that they have the time to sit through all the CDs listening them to choose the best moments? I'm sure they have some batch programm that rips a 45 sec sample somewhere in the middle of track's length and that's it. Blame the artists for putting so much breaks in today's music

I used to buy at psyshop but, once in the past i sent them an email to discuss about a problem i started to have the last times i bought there. The admin replied my emails in a very rude way, like he didnt have any interest on selling for me. Completely Ill-mannered. In the end i discovered that the problems were really not his fault but from the brazilian post office, but anyway he could have been more polite. From that time on, I started to buy at http://www.beatspace.com which have perfect service directed to the customers and the best thing: they deliver registrated order, while psyshop does not, so i can track my orders in the post office website, it's much more secure. At the end, I really got used to beatspace and had no problems so far, they update they're site all the time and have almost all the titles available. I've said it before and I will say it again: Psyshop is great (excepting the short audio samples).....until you have a problem - then they suck. Anyone who has actually needed to interact with a person at psyshop will know what I mean, customers and labels included |

This month I wanted to try the almost new online shop beatspace, I tought as I'm in Switzerland, and the shop in Italy it must be faster, it was faster and I like a lot the music they have, but shit I had to pay the double price because of tax  |

Beatspace has less in stock as well, and they don't even sell YSE compilations.
Psyshop all the way. They have great stocks and their samples may be short, but they're damn good quality. (And you can always listen to samples on other psy-sites)

I don't like psyshop very much, only when i have not choice to buy in another place, such as last time when i bought Gaudium - Nordic Nature, the cd case arrived broken!!, the package has not any protection. So i had lucky that only the case were broken. In the other hand same day arrived an order from psysale.com and there i have not problems, very protected the order and with free flyers, stickers.. i like this and psyshop doesn't do things like this.

Don´t speak of stuff you don´t know about man. Psyshop gives away stickers, flyers, magazines... At least, to me. Don´t know if I´m special or not. Also the package I receive has protection inside it. When the package is damaged it´s because of the postoffice or the delivery service.

Regular mail ? What do you mean ? How can you track regular mail ? My saikosounds orders always come by DHL and they are obviously trackable, not that it really matters though since they are delivered to my door within 24 hours usually, but it's fun watching the progress of the package on DHL online tracking when I've got nothing better to do  |

1. Psyshop.com (fast delevery, no problems)
2. Chaosunlimited.co.uk (Great service, friendly mails and fast delevery)
3. Saikosounds.com (if the rest doesnt have it in stock, this place shure should)
Other thehn that, I use trance-shop.net and psysale.com
I've bought alot of albums, and only problems that I'm having from time to time is the broken splinters that are in the middle of the jewlcase. Nothing else.

I've never had any problems buying records from Psyshop and deciding by listening to those 45-second clips.
But on the other hand I've been actively buying records for the last 9 years so I've developed some sort of "intuition" to hear the difference between something I like and something I don't like right away. I can also imagine that some people might have a hard time deciding when they've only heard 45 secs.
The problem is partly due to the fact that copyright societies force certain rules on audio samples that can be made available on the Internet for free..

I buy from psyshop for 5 years now and I am pretty satisfied! I get the cd´s here in Portugal in 3 days! Can´t say the same for other online record stores... |
