Psyshop! Am i the only one?

They do truely suck.
Alltho i wsa forced to order from there yesterday, SHAME ON ME!
But i mena i can judge from a 40 sec sample if i want the cd or not, even tho i would prefer longer. It is just the fact when they sample the break. IT FUCKING ANNOYING.
Chaosunlimited.co.uk is really rea;lly good aswell. Long samples and general good service.
I havent had any problems with psyshops service YET, iand i hope it will not come. But lets see..

I order stuff from Psyshop from time to time and I never had any problems with the delivery or the service, this counts more for me than long samples on the page. But I have to agree that the samples at saikosounds and chaosunlimited are way better, and so is their backstock most of the time.
And when somebody is mentioning the Nystagmus album: I absolutely agree, this is a gem and should be on the frontpage of every online shop!! |

Pretty simple, eh?  If I'm thinking about buying a CD or record, I usually try to listen to samples from as many places as possible. It's happened before that I will hear a sample of a part I don't like at one store only to hear a sample from a different section elsewhere that is much more enticing! Also, if you truly are planning on buying, it's probably not the worst thing in the world to spend a bit of time and find "full-length samples". Just as long as you buy the CD when you like the "samples" or delete it when you don't.
I've been ordering from Psyshop for 4 or 5 years and have yet to have any problem whatsoever. Their online customer service is certainly lacking (never answer emails), but I've never really had much of a need to contact them with problems - just asking when so-and-so CD will come into stock. If you are in central Europe, they are plainly the best place to get your music (if they have what you want in stock).

Everybody is always moaning and bitching about psyshop, but I've never had problems with them. And listen to what krelm says, he's got some wise words. If you want to buy something you just listen to as many online samples as you can. And to June: just listen to saikosounds samples, and get over your frustration please. It's no use pointing out to us you're unhappy with psyshop. Give THEM a mail, not us please.

I am just glad and thankful there are ppl out there who work their ass off to keep stores like Chaos Unlimited, Psyshop, Saikosounds, Chaos Existence... and more for us to be able to listen and buy the music we love from anywhere in the world.
I prefer certain stores over others. It is the right as a consumer, but I try not to put down this hard working ppl that keep the music flowing.

i guess for europe is a good option also since the delivery for Uk is next day at your stereo 
Wirikuta has slight bigger variety
Psyshop was good when i first used onlineshop...

Dear artists and labels. You could sell alot more if psyshop would change the way they male their samples! I do not want to hear samples of the breaks, they don't really matter when it comes to selling!

Hey June! (Hej Line ), I agree very much with you on this one, these snap-shorts can hardly give you a good impression of the track!...anyway as mentioned before Saikosounds has nice long samples to hear so I usualy go hear it there....

i tried to order from psyshop 5 times.each time diffrent problem.
one time i even called them on the phone,they insisted that the problem was with my credit card,but it was fine,in the end i ordered from a shop in italy(http://www.beatspace.com/) and i even saved a few euros. |

So June,
as regarding service from psyshop I never had any problems.
Today a friend of mine just introduced me to Saiko sounds and I love their 4mins sample.
Yes,
I hate 1minute samples i really do.
But.......
At least afetr so many months a disparantion I went onto Psyshop and the music was not as commercial as it was at least.
The last 16months were a nightmare for the trance scene.
Commercial.commercial and nore commercial...
At least I went in today and managed to order 5 cds.But you are righta bout samples and reviews...
It's a shame all all cds seem to be WOW for them..

I went off psyshop when they 'lost' my order of over 200Euros - they told me to wait 7 weeks before they could look into it - WTF?
I never received that order (and they kept my money).
