Ok i havent wrote a word about this album yet, and its time i should.
What can i say. I always loved Psykovsky's sound and ideaz, and its been a pleasure listening to how his sound only got deeper and deeper throughout the yearz. Then - the debut... What can i say.
Truely a beautiful album, hard but deep, scratching but harmonious, and above all, mad mad mad mad mad mad.
Mental music for the brain as well as the feet, although i havent had the chance to dance this album on a decent sound system.
Lots of fresh ideas, awasome compositions and structures, and +1 on the madness amount of how mad psytrance can be. At least.
This i believe will be rememberd long time after its release. I will at least always love to play it.
9\10

Oh all people with eXtremly good hearing.
http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/ver/ver1cd008.html
Track one - Fungus Funk Metropolis (Robot Empire), (Propoganda Remix) at 10:10 right after the "Acid" sample, there is a voice screaming something. What is the man saying, and could it be in Russian?
Oh, for all the Russian Psykovsky fans out there. If there are other samples hidden inside the tracks in Russian. It would be fun if you could translate it and post it for all of us to see. Let's help each other unveil the darkness of Psykovsky!
Still a 10/10 album, only thing "bothering" me is the 2 second pause in track 3 from the speach of Yoda to the beat kicks in. Anyone know why it is like that? Guess it must have a function in some way?

you twat! Of course the reason is valid and good. It's because after a sample like that - it's chilling cool to have a 2 second break where the tripper can think and drown him/her self in thoughts and feeling.. And right before you disappear, the kick drops! and flyes you away. ^^

Yeah well... back in the old days we had albums like IFO (Pleiadians), Pigs In Space to name some that made quite an impression on me.

Theres something about this album thats so visual that I really wanted to write a non-technical review. I spluttered some words together after a bunch of sessions with this album and my HD25s and came up with nothing short of a bizzare collection of my daydreams. Anyway, I'm done with it so I guess the next step would be to post it (or else I'll spend the rest of my life sitting and tweaking the words and my head)
So here goes:
One. Propaganda Remix
Two. Beloochi Remix
Three. Wishful Sinful
Four. Indigo Child
Five. Compos Mentis
Six. Erlkoenig
Seven. Kuklusklan Remix
Eight. Pump the spam

One.
This place is getting too much for me, need to get out. I put on my pajamas and jump on the cosmic motorbike. Cruising
on the dark side of the planet a swarm of nanobots join the ride. Swerving, weaving, the android on wheels takes flight.
It's us versus gravity and the meteors. Making our way across orange rain we spin out of control. Faster, forceful, losing
sight, absolutely lost. Ah a familiar sound. We can reach it... breaking free to find ourselves in the
rhythm of dance and outer space. More sounds... it’s a voice in the frequency, inching us closer with the groove. There it is... the
hole. The nanobots leave and I jump in.
Two.
A blissful slumber and a memory ridden with fragments of sound. I'm in a theatre, a movie theatre, only to find myself being chased out
by an animal. I can't move fast enough. Turn on the fucking generator man! Give me speed! The scene is long gone but I can’t stop.
The machine has taken over. I know I have to surrender and I close my eyes. They're all over me. Cold soldiers screeching orders.
Human voices from years ago... astronauts captured in space. Wait. It stopped. Opening my eyes I find myself in a midst of a rebellion.
We scream and rise as one but I lose balance and fall from the sky. Back on the ground I run for my life... hearing the sounds disintegrate behind me.
Senses dying.
Three.
Am I in heaven? I believe it. The memory lasts for a moment. Impossible to see your future is... go back to the present. I try to find my way
through clouds of dust. Blurred silhouettes in the distance... dancing, thumping. A psychedelic concerto on dunes. The sun swallows the
moon and the planet rejoices. Snaking arms fill the air as twilight engulfs the skies. The dust clears and I see a million eyes. The eye in me
looks back and we get swept into sand.
Four.
Stumbling down the hallway and falling into another rythm. Through grey tunnels, twisting, turning, I'm pulled towards them.
A galaxy of knowledge from a source in another universe. The hypnotic pulse of data sends me surging forward... deeper into my mind.
It doesn’t lie out there! They've been in me all this time. Closer. The silence gets there before I do... lost again.
Five.
Born as a biomechanic projection. A katana flying through space towards glowing eggs from the Japanese spaceports. Transversing megacities
lit up in neon. Cosmic traffic is the worst at stardown. Metal forests in the sky with memories of extinct trees. All is artificial but us...
reflecting away in the silver dark. We slow down, speed up, surge outwards, merge inwards and find the end in the stroke of the cosmic harp.
Six.
Drum beats surge him forward towards the call of the tribe. Blazing through the forest from evening to the night... the midnight hour.
The biomechanic idols awaken. Dancing around the pyramids of stone. Voices swerve upwards from the ground. Calling to the suns. But beauty
leads to the madness that awaits. Showers of chrome shards infinite as the stars, shoot through and rip the fabric of the
the planet. Torn, tormented, it leads to nothing but the voices and music lost in the black hole.
Seven.
Ancient voices chant with a frequency stuck in the pipleline. Knocked forward by moment of silence the balance is shifted perpendicularly, a
square waved worm blazing its way down the cosmos. Imprisoned by a drummers beat it tries to break free. Projections fall through, shoot
outward but the path remains the same. Derbris accumilate on the surface, tranforming the once simple worm into an interdimensional snake.
Beneath the surface of silver lies the organic scales, expanding, growing. A scream and it all falls apart. Forward motion at infinite speed
leads to silence once again.
Eight.
A primordial ride through a hydroponic forest. The feeling flashes through as I'm interrupted with disturbed memories of a Ferris wheel.
Back in jungle, no direction, swirling, tripping on tangents. Enter artificial trees, chromatic frogs and crickets. The trails appear
and directions are decided. Onward, through expanses of tweaking buzzing reptiles, branches moving further away, expanding into a vast plane
of nothingness. Open space drains power from the vehicle... floating, rising, into a lifeless body. Aaaayyyyaaaaayyyyyaaawaken.
