Oh all people with eXtremly good hearing.
http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/ver/ver1cd008.html
Track one - Fungus Funk Metropolis (Robot Empire), (Propoganda Remix) at 10:10 right after the "Acid" sample, there is a voice screaming something. What is the man saying, and could it be in Russian?

Oh, for all the Russian Psykovsky fans out there. If there are other samples hidden inside the tracks in Russian. It would be fun if you could translate it and post it for all of us to see. Let's help each other unveil the darkness of Psykovsky!

I think you're talking about the voice screaming out "Spetsnaz!", yes? Spetsnaz is an abbreviation for Special Purpose Forces, they are a part of the armed forces in Russia, sometimes used to supress mutinies and control crowds etc.

From memory that's the only russian sample on that masterpiece of an album.

Any other useful information about samples ect of this album would be very much appreciated. Poem - check .. Great granchild - check .. Remix of swanlake - check .. sample track one - check!

Spetsnaz!!!

No problems! Great grandchild?? Which track are you talking about??
Hmm if I notice any more samples I will let you know, but feel free to ask in the mean time if you spot any yourself! I've listened to that album so much I just can't hear it anymore! For a little while anyway hehe

Well, I guess we all love it when an artist is wrapped in secrets and mysteries. This only boosts the mystic of one's music.
But.. Let's get a few things out in the open, hope it won’t damage anything..

Psykovsky (Vasily Markelov) is supposedly the great-great-grandchild of Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (maybe best known for the ballet "Swan Lake" - see remix in "Wishful Sinful") Of course, I'm not claiming that this is 100% true, but at least this is what the legend says. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyotr_Ilyich_Tchaikovsky

The beautiful track of Psykovsky, "Erlkoenig" is based on a poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erlkoenig - I must say that track 5 & 6 are my absolute favourites on this album (maybe except track 1 that I love because of the long build-up).

ko-ko - are you insane?

Hehe i dont think there is anything mystical about psykovsky's samples. I think we are going a bit over the top here. Samples are like any other artists' samples. Nonetheless, spanking music

What I meant: To know too much about an artist will and can ruin the mystery surrounding his music. When one knows less, it only enhances in mystery and secret, which again makes the whole listening experience more exciting. I remember all the mystery around Infected Mushroom and Astral Projection when I first entered the world of psy-trance. Now, many years after and knowing everything. I feel sad that the "holy" mystery is gone. Get my point? .. And I would not want to break the mystery of psykovsky, even though I'm doing it as we speak. Oh yes my friend, psykovsky’s samples isn’t “just" samples. They have deeper meaning and effects. ^^

ko-ko spanking dimensions indeed!

Lol god damn, if he really is the great great grandchild or whatever that would be insane!!! Would explain his symphonic approach to psytrance somewhat though hahaha. The whole album is my favourite... I think propaganda is near the top, the tension of political atmosphere (crowd and all else) is painted so amazingly well!

psykovsky is still present in my heart. I've spun my Cd so much I even got a couple of unwanted scraches. Will have to buy a new copy soon without a sense of grumpyness. Would be my honour to buy many copies of his debut masterpiece. Thanks to the people who gave me a helping hand in transelating the mysterius propoganda samples. Any more help? Please be my guest and post, it must be more inside the psykovsky album that is in Russian, I'm sure!

Hi Zoopy, I don't remember.

Q: In the last part of 'Wishful Sinful' a voice repeats what sounds like Swedish: Stanna lite or/and stønna lite which in English translates to Stay alittle or/and moan alittle. lol, i guess it's a Russian voice, and not a scandinavian one?

Psykovsky - Debut - Wishful Sinful - Track 3 - aprox 07:55 minutes out in the tune, the fat baseline starts and the weird swedishish sample starts.

Enlighten me?
