And I think you just hit the nail on the head.
We're in a place right now where we are asked to comment and analyse and intellectualise, yet so much of what we feel and understand about the music we like is not something that can be typed out or put into words, whether good or bad. The experience of music is beyond anything we can really express with mere language.
But this is a forum and we are human and we all like to have our say. Perhaps it's the case that sometimes words just get in the way; as soon as you're on a dancefloor everything changes and it's pure feeling. Just the music and you and the dance and, hopefully, a big fat smile.

I think certain genres shouldn't be allowed in the scene.
[Btw, I just realised that HandA is Kristian - after all this time. It all makes sense now.  ] |

but that was my taste then i was a very littel kid and i must say that today fullon is worse than those nisthonot time
my taste changed and i open my mind a bit music wise
people here diss fullon and others say to them hey you are closed minded people its the oposite |

Ott did you write this? This does not sound like you. I mean are we going to search CD cases or ask DJs to leave if they are playing certain psy trance? This is very scary that someone in the psy trance scene wants to form the Trance Facist Police. IMHO this is very sad and it links perfectly to the copycat unidirectional standarized music flooding most of the comps.
Could we just let ppl do their thing. If you like it support it, if not... well just don't go. |
