Just wondering if any one listens to psychedelic rock, seeing as how psy is pretty much influenced by that genre (pink floyd !!)
monster magnet and hawkind are some killer psychedelic bands
Anyone listen to these bands or others i havent heard of? |

I think The Doors is one of the best psychedelic rock bands ever, but that's if your going back to the roots xD

form the most commont or typical psychedelic stuff i like Greatful Death and also Deep Purple... also think about some surf (from psychobily) are very nice such a Dick Dale from USA or Messer Chups from Russia incredible guitar work

there are too many psychedelic pop and rock bands and artists from 60s but the legends are:
- Velvet Underground
- Who
- Pink Floyd
- David Bowie
- Beatles
they are the biggest artists ever and they have influence the whole music history and only the psychedelic genres |

I don't know how psychedelic The Doors is, but I've only heard and have the best of works, so maybe the more unknown (for me) albums are psychedelic, i don't know.
As Pavel said, TOOL! The new album is hUge! I tripped on shrooms while listening to 10,000 days. The guitars comes like tsunamies!! Beautiful.
Is YES psychedelic? Hawkwind is nice, Jimi Henrix.. |
